Most of the members here stick with their seo provider if he is giving good results. But what can motivate you to try a new provider for some project ? I am asking this for a friend who wants to create a differentiating impact in his pitches for SEO offerings ?

Hey awesomewebsites,
Clients usually switch when they feel their current agency is hiding behind vague metrics without showing real business impact.A provider offering highly transparent custom reporting and live performance dashboards usually catches their attention immediately.Pitching a highly specific micro service like a technical audit before a full campaign also lowers the initial risk.

the could ask what the prospective client's number 1 problem is that they wanna find a solution for... and offer the solution if they can (within reason of course)...

For me it’s when results plateau or communication drops. I’ll test someone new if they show clear case studies, transparent methods, and a unique angle I’m not already getting.

I have personally also struggled with this aspect. Most of the providers I met were not transparent.

Most people switch only when rankings drop or reports look fake.

Trust is the main thing in SEO. New provider must show real data not big claims.

SEO is a long term game, so hopping from one SEO provider to another, is not suggested. Moreover, the way Google algorithms are, some time in needed for SEO techniques done to "incubate". Therefore, better to wait for at least 6 months before judging any results.

the, decision to change SEO providers is generally driven by performance
milestones rather than a fixed calendar, with most companies evaluating
their agency's effectiveness every 6 to 12 months

I think bigger companies would be sticking with their provider for years in general. For new companies, I do understand the urgency to try as many as possible.

Good results keep clients loyal.
You know, trust grows with consistency. For me, transparent pricing builds confidence.

When we communicate with seller so we know how much knowledge they have and how they can reach our website on top and also will be smooth conversation

All buyers do not have that privilege. What is the option for them ?

My clients have actually fired our SEO company two times, simply because w’d been working for them for too long :) ... It happened after 2 and 4 years, even though the results were good, they felt they needed to try something new... Wau, It was hard to argue with that...

I am interested in hearing others responses as well. I have been trying out a few different approaches and people for this work in order to have some diversity.

A new SEO provider might be tried if they offer creative ideas, transparency in results, or attractive trial incentives.
