I have an app idea, but I need to understand the demand. How many of you use planners and task-tracking apps? Would you be willing to pay a subscription fee for a convenient tool?

I just write things on a white board, then i don't bother with planning the steps in between, since you can't tell the future, you don't know what problems you will have till your working on things. Yeah you can "plan" out an overview but it won't be realistic and an accurate reflection of what is involved.

Make something intersting and gamify it if you can. Don't reinvent the wheel, with something that only you are proud off, go into the realms of usefullness and what people are missing from existing infrastructure attempts.

There are several already
If it's not a quize to
A money maker
Or money safer

You won't get traction that early as you want

I use those task tracking apps pretty much every day. They help keep things from getting too chaotic. I am not sure about paying for one though, unless its really straightforward and doesnt glitch out all the time. If it actually makes me get more done, that might change my mind on the subscription thing. Sometimes I wonder if the free ones are enough, but yeah.

I'm not just going to create another planner, of course I've come up with something special, but the main point is planning, which is why I'm asking

Thank you for your answers!

Sometimes. I usually prefer simple tools though, too many features can actually slow things down.

My tool is Brite - all-in-one life OS (tasks + habits + finance + notes) and also i regularly use tools like Taskito and Notion.
