Subreddit Ownership - Adult

I've noticed lots of adult subreddits are completely owned by adult creators/agencies who just ban you if you are not one of their models trying to get traffic to OF/Fanvue

It's a mix between this and very strict subreddits who ban you for almost anything

Anyone found a workaround for this for adult?

Build karma in vanilla subreddits first, then target the mid-size ones that are loosely moderated. The big locked ones aren't worth fighting, find subreddits where mods are inactive and work those instead.

Hmm you’re probably looking in the wrong places. Ignore giant subs. Especially if you’re just starting out. While what you say is true, a lot of big subs are owned by agencies or a cabal of women who don’t want the competition, you’re also just likely falling foul of being filtered by larger subs reputation filter for having a new low karma account. Build karma by engaging in the areas you wish to post first.

For a new account I’d start in subs with between 1000-5000 members. Make sure the sub itself is active with a good consumer to creator ratio where all posts receive 50+ upvotes.

If you’re finding this difficult the next question to ask yourself is: ‘is this kink saturated’ for instance feet, where everyone wants to start, is very difficult to get a foothold in with a new low karma account. So pick another, my biggest ever post with 000s of upvotes when I sold was in a subreddit for girls with shorter hair. Nothing at all to do with my usual content my partner just happened to have short hair at the time. So have an open mind, at the beginning any engagement is good engagement.

The first two weeks are gonna suck for any creator. Just be persistent, just keep throwing shit until it sticks somewhere. Don’t keep posting somewhere if you get no engagement as you’re probably in a queue for moderator review that will never be looked at.

As your karma and following grows you’ll find shit starts to stick all over the place.

niche subreddits worked best for me and not the General ones maybe give it a try

They're banning them because too many people are trying to attract traffic with adult content subreddits.
