I tried testing the Temu affiliate program 3 months ago. I registered as an affiliate, generated product links, and then ordered those products using my friend's phone and her Temu account to see if I would get a small commission back.

The system counted the click from my affiliate link, but no sale or commission was recorded. Later I realized the likely reason is that my friend already had the Temu app and an existing account. It seems the program mainly rewards purchases from new users who install the app and create an account through the affiliate link, so orders from existing users don’t qualify. Because of that, I gave up.
