You basically create a subreddit and treat it like a real project. Post every single day, at least 5 solid pieces of content. Keep everything unique, no copy paste, no recycled stuff. Engage with every comment, build real discussions, make people feel heard. Do that consistently for 3–4 months and the algorithm will start picking up your posts. They’ll begin showing in recommendations and growth kicks in. First 100 members, then 1,000, then it compounds. It’s not magic, it’s consistency and patience.

I obviously do not know when or what exactly happened, and OP posted this thread and then disappeared from the forum.
But since the reason given is “banned because unmoderated” there are two possible scenarios:
1- OP was the only moderator, and after their account got banned, the subreddit automatically became unmoderated.
2- The subreddit was spammed to death and OP (who was again the only moderator) didn’t take any moderation actions for 30 days, which led Reddit to mark it as unmoderated.
