Which social media platform do you use more?

I use X and TikTok more now. Faster reach and easier to grow from zero. Facebook feels slow unless you use groups.

Which social media platform do you use more? Instagram, X, Facebook, and Tiktok
  • TikTok is strongest for fast organic reach and short-form discovery.
  • Instagram works well for branding, reels, and DMs.
  • Facebook is still powerful for groups and ads.
  • X is good for real-time conversations and niche authority.

Don't try to "cover" everywhere if you don't want to waste resources; choose the right platform where your target audience already lives. Facebook is the hub for shopping and community transactions, X is for news, and TikTok is the land of fast-paced entertainment and niche content. By focusing on the right ecosystem that matches your content style, you'll generate genuine conversions instead of scattered engagement numbers.

Lately I spend more time on X because the organic reach and fast-moving conversations are better for traffic testing, but honestly platforms like Instagram and Facebook still win when it comes to stable scaling and audience retention. It really depends if you’re chasing quick engagement or building something long term.

Focusing on a single platform where the target audience is most active can increase engagement by up to 300% as seen in my recent Twitter experiment where narrowing down to a specific niche led to a 2500% increase in followers in just 6 weeks. Building on the idea of choosing the right platform, I've found that Instagram and TikTok are ideal for visually-driven content, while LinkedIn and Reddit are better suited for B2B and informative content. By allocating 80% of resources to the primary platform and 20% to secondary ones, I've been able to maintain a strong presence across multiple platforms without spreading myself too thin. This approach has also allowed me to achieve a 25% conversion rate on LinkedIn and a 15% conversion rate on Reddit.
Goal-oriented and successful progress. It makes sense to concentrate energy on a few areas instead of spreading it out in many places.

TikTok which is funny bc when it first debuted I had no interest in it at all. I didn’t catch on until Covid

Personally, I use each platform differently, but I spend more time on TikTok and Instagram because they tend to give faster reach and engagement. Facebook still works well for certain audiences, while X feels more niche and conversation-driven. It really depends on your goals and target market.

mostly instagram + tiktok for daily use (reels/shorts are just addictive). x when i want real-time updates, and facebook mainly for groups + marketplace.

Lately I’ve been using X and Instagram more.X for discussions and staying updated, Instagram for visual content.
TikTok is great for reach, but I don’t use Facebook as much anymore.

For personal I use Instagram. To talk to the gf and friends etc

Currently, Instagram is more fun than TikTok and its algorithm is extremely broad.

For news / daily > Twitter
For viral videos > Instagram
For NSFW > Reddit lol.
