This will only generate 8 sec long videos. Is that true or I am missing something here. How will you generate 20 min podcast from 8 sec videos?

paying you can do videos more longer.. or if you wanted you could use grok and uploaded a photo that you preview created it with nanobanano for example.. and when it give you the 8 seconds video, you screen the last frame and it will be the firts frame of the new video.. so that you can do it X times and make longer videos.. obvs not at the firts time you have to iterate a lot to make a very good video

20 times 60 equals 1200
1200 divided by 8 equals 150 videos.
You need 150 vids for a podcast.
1 veo3 video will take 10 mins all together, if you are lucky and server is not busy.
10 times 150 that's 1500 mins or 1500/60 equals 25 working hrs or 3-4 days to produce a 20 min podcast.
Highy inefficient and expansive method for an ai podcast.

only thing I'd add is spending a bit more time on the hook and pacing, AI makes production easy now, attention is the real bottleneck, not the setup anymore

1. You don’t generate every 8-second clip sequentially.
Most people generate multiple clips in parallel or batch them. So it’s not 150 × 10 minutes in real production.

2. You don’t need 150 clips for a 20-minute video.
AI podcasts are usually not pure video generation.
Most of the time it’s:
AI talking head or host , B-roll, looping backgrounds, cuts and transitions

A single Veo clip can be reused or looped multiple times.


3. Video generation isn’t the bottleneck.
Editing, script, and audio are usually the main parts. The visual segments are only supporting content.


4. You also ignored interpolation and extension techniques.
People commonly extend clips by:

frame continuation , video-to-video generation, looping segments, motion interpolation

So the real workflow is closer to 20–40 clips, not 150.

Its certainly doable, but I don't see it blowing up the way a real podcast would. Podcasts blew up because of the personal, human element, the story behind the voice. It often takes years to build a profitable audience, and even if time was on your side, there is no story behind an AI generated podcast, unless you make an invest in setting up a fake story to go along with it over many months.

Then again, i hear in china ai live streamers are making bank, so if you have the time, give it a shot and see how it goes!
