[Feedback] Create multiple accounts on hinge/bumble/tinder for A/B testing

Hi everyone,

I'm a longtime lurker and just decided to join.

I'd like to create different accounts on dating apps to find out which pictures perform best (most likes), basically doing A/B testing. The accounts don't need to survive long (1 week is enough). There is no preference for hinge, bumble or tinder. 5-10 accounts should run simultaneously.

Can my goal be achieved realistically?

I also tried cloud phones providers that create individual device fingerprints but the accounts get banned right away (tried on tinder). A few years ago, I could create tinder profiles using browsers in a virtual machine. That worked for a few accounts but was not scalable without getting banned.

Honestly, it’s much harder now. A few years ago VMs worked. Now they don’t. Tinder, Bumble, Hinge track more than fingerprint. They look at phone numbers, IP history, photo reuse, swipe speed, patterns. If 5 to 10 accounts appear at the same time, it looks suspicious fast.

Cloud phones don’t solve everything. If the numbers are recycled or the behavior feels artificial, bans come quickly. Even one week is enough.

If you only want to test photos, just rotate pictures on one account. Change them every few days. Track matches per 100 likes.

The problem with rotating pictures is that the algorithm ranks your profile always differently over time. So it could happen that your first set of pictures were so bad that your account got buried and the new set won't have any effect.

I've seen some people working on creating accounts. What are the most common approaches nowadays?

Running 5–10 accounts simultaneously is very likely to trigger bans now.
Dating apps track device signals, behavior patterns, and photo reuse very closely.
