Hello everyone im pretty new to this cold emailing, so i would like to hear your thoughts about doing cold emailing, how to do it, what are the things i need to know before doing it, and do i need softwers to manage my emails, and how should i do warmup for my emails, that i want mails to be sent from?

Thank you in advance.

First thing is obviously having them warmed up until your deliverability is high. Usually takes a few weeks. You should use warmup service, doing it on your own will be very hard.

After warm up obviously want to prepare your cold email and test its deliverability to make sure it stays high(links can lower it, graphics, images, some specific domains etc)

Other than that its pretty straightforward

I'd suggest to setup Mautic (and a mail server, if needed) on a VPS.
Then get your email list together.
Start slowly to warm up the mail server.
Check your results in Mautic and adapt the campaign.

First step is you don't do it. Then second step is you build a lander or website with an email capture on it. Third step is you mail those warm contacts through legit email providers, and make a regular profit.

biggest tip no one mentions early on - don't send more than 20-30 emails a day per account when starting out. and keep your copy short, nobody reads long cold emails. instantly.ai is solid if you want a tool to manage everything

Buy multiple domains, never use your main one for cold outreach. Warm them up for 2-3 weeks (some tools automate this). Start with 20-30 emails/day per account, then scale gradually.

And honestly, the quality of your list matters more than anything else. Make sure you have enough context on who you're emailing, and they match your ICP as closely as possible. Blasting random lists = burned domains + zero replies.

Building or buying an email list. You can entice traffic with a free ebook or course on your website or blog, and then have them subscribe to your email list by confirming to get more emails from you. In this case you don't need to warmup because they will have already accepted getting emails from you.

Start by defining your audience and building a clean list. Send short, personalized emails, warm up your domain gradually, and use tools to track and automate if needed.

Are you doing B2B or B2C?

My suggestion is to start manual outreach first. Learn list relevance and hygiene. Which leads convert and why.

Once you have that sorted - you can easily scale it by buying more domains, mailboxes, and a proper cold email platform like instantly or smartlead.

Because if the emails you send in scale are not relevant they wont convert and would eventually lead to a burnout.

First get clean lead list and verify emails or you hit spam fast. Use few domains and warm them slow with small sends each day. Tool helps but list quality matters more.

Hey mate, we're sending over 100k+ emails/mo on behalf of our clients. Some fundamentals you can easily follow:

- Use Smartlead or Instantly as a sending software (you can warmup email accounts there for free. Minimum 2 week warmup)
- Use a platform like CheapInboxes for getting Google accounts for half of the original price (they handle DNS setup too)
- 2 Mailboxes per 1 domain. Send 15 emails/day per mailbox.
- For B2B lead list, use databases like Apollo, Crunchbase, or LinkedIn Sales Nav - depends who is your target.
- Clean your list using Millionverifier
- Send short emails, keep them plain text. No links, images or html.
- Focus on nailing down your offer (watch Hormozi's value equation), it makes getting results so much easier. Offer is always #1 needle mover

Hit me up if you have any questions. can share some more info

The first thing you can do in my opinion is to find a gap in a business that you see as good to reach out for and gather the public details about them that might be helpful and reach out to them with the GAP you found in their system. like an error in the websites they use, which can be a problem to a huge percentage of users of them. this can increase the chance of emails getting opened

The most important piece of advice, which nobody mentions from the start, is to avoid sending more than 30-50 emails per day per account when you're just beginning. And keep the content concise.
