Is is really worth it for an ambitious small filmmaker to continue in that field when you you give hundreds of hours to make a short clip, instead an AI generated video with 30 seconds could possibly be more attractive to the normal audience? The struggle of people tend to watch short videos are becoming a real life challenge for us the makers. How do you keep up with this generation guys?

Your concern is very real and a lot of filmmakers are struggling with exactly this shift. The key thing though is that the game didn’t end — the rules changed.

Short attention spans are real, so many filmmakers just adapt by making shorter, stronger edits.

Quality storytelling still wins if the audience connects with it.

AI can create content fast, but authentic storytelling and unique vision always shine through and gain loyal followers over time. Filmmakers can adapt to this by using short form clips to gain reach while continuing with in-depth content to gain real creative value.
