Like for example it was being said that AI will be used by software companies and will reduce their expense on workforce. But I see that news of AI like anthropic has destroyer the share value of all leading software companies. So overall there is no benefit at all. Now, with people loosing jobs the overall spending power will reduce which will push economy more down. So overall effect is negative. Other than owners of these AI companies, no one is benefitting. Even they will come to zero net worth when people realize that AI does not solve any really problem.

AI is an efficiency tool, not a human replacement. It speeds up work and cuts costs for companies, but it's currently in a market bubble. It solves productivity gaps, but entry-level jobs are definitely at risk.

I don't think it is as simple as that. It can solve many real problems. The issue in my view is that what is propagated is that it will manage everything better, which just seems flat out wrong. At least even in the mid-term. I suspect that a decent amount of blue collar jobs are still quite safe, even though an LLM can guide you through plumbing, it will take a long time before it becomes normalized for many people to do this and you still need expertise for a lot of aspects.

For other jobs like HR, Customer Support, Accounting etc. I think that companies are more than happy to save on spending, even if it means they don't replace all of their positions it will definitely cut down a reasonable percentage of people required. The real issue I think a lot of this brings is that less lower tier jobs like juniors are going to get accepted, and with that, less people are naturally going to become seniors/capable which brings this whole future to a curious situation in terms of the job market.

You are right. There is basic problem with human beings in general. For their benefit, they exploit everything.

I completely agree with this. Although there are some experimental AIs for developing new content, they are far behind in this context.

AI dont solve any problems, it suggest solution to problems, So there will be always a human need to confirm the suggestion and choose the right one. if you are blindly include all the works on AI without any supervision, then errors may occur for sure. We have to use it in a smart way to get benefits from AI and overcome the negative effects you mentioned above.

I don't know, AI makes me money, so from my point of view it definitely solves a problem. If a tool helps you save time, reduce costs, learn faster, or earn more, then that is problem solving.

People talk about AI like it has to fix the entire economy to be useful, but that’s not really the standard. A hammer doesn’t solve every problem either, but it still solves the one it was made for.

For me, AI helps with work, ideas, content, automation, research, and speed. That already has real value. So no, I don’t agree that AI solves nothing. Maybe it doesn’t solve every problem, but it absolutely solves some.

AI can be used for good and bad as well. It's only a tool. It depends on its usage by us (humans) which determines its value. For example it cannot do the work of a psychologist, doctor and lawyer as these are too specialized. Also AI can halucinate a lot. Therefore I believe some jobs will either adapt or die. So I partially agree with you; if some professions don't evolve along with it the people may become unemployed soon.

I think with every revolution the jobs are replaced .
Most entry-level jobs are and will be replaced by AI soon .
I am the website developer and even i think that in the next 5 - 10 years entry-level developer will not be needed .

I think it all depends on perspective. but if we take a closer look, AI is really solving problems by helping people work faster, and automate repetitive tasks. Fear is normal, but looking at the ultimate goal, AI is really an improvement. We only need to stop seeing it as challenges, and start learning on how to adapt and optimise its use
