why does all my sites under the same search console account behave the same ?

I have 4 sites (3 of same niche and 1 other ) , they are all in the same search console and analytics account.
I noticed that they all behave the same in terms of traffic and trends .


For example about 4 months ago , I started to get most of the traffic from china and singapore .
All 3 sites started to get exact the same traffic sources , mainly china and singapore and the 4th sites also starting getting traffic from china.

If i got a drop in impressions in search console , its like they are all affected the same.

Has anyone experienced something like that?
should I seperate them to a different search console account ?

Have you hosted all your sited on the same hosting server? Are you using cloudflare or any other cdn?
Putting all sites under same account is a bad idea especially if you are targeting same niche.

2 out of three are on the same host , and all 3 are under the same cloudflare account ? Should inseperate them to a different search console account ?

Separating GSC accounts won't help here, I've been through this exact same thing.

The China/Singapore traffic is just bots, datacenter crawlers, nothing real. The reason all your sites get hit the same way is because they're all linked to one Google account - Google sees them as one cluster and treats them accordingly. Updates, penalties, traffic patterns - it all flows the same way across all of them.

If you actually want to reduce this, move 2 of your sites to a completely different Google account. Not just a new GSC property, a whole new Gmail, new everything. That's the only thing that actually breaks the cluster in Google's eyes.

Also don't trust GA for this, open your raw server logs. GA filters out a ton of bot traffic so you're not seeing the full picture of what's actually hitting your sites.

LAst question, so you think since google already sees them under the same cluster that it can also be undone ? Or only for new sites?

On the cluster question - honestly it can be undone but it takes time. Google doesn't just forget overnight. Once you move them to separate accounts, the cluster signal weakens gradually as the sites build their own independent history. I'd say 3-4 months before you see them really behaving independently.

The sites you already have will still carry some of that shared history for a while, nothing you can do about that. But new sites you launch from now - keep them clean from day one, separate everything.

Same sc or analytics account is not causing shared traffic behavior. If all sites move together it usually means shared niche seasonality common backlink sources cdnserver setup or broader google updates affecting your footprint the same way

Similar HTML structure is definitely a footprint. Not as strong as same GSC account, but Google's crawlers pick up on template patterns - same CSS class names, same page structure, same schema markup layout. If all your sites look like they came from the same theme or builder, that's a signal.

The bigger risk with similar HTML isn't really clustering, it's that if one site gets flagged for something, Google can pattern-match to the others faster.

Easiest fix is just changing things up a bit on each site - different theme, shuffle the layout, change class names if you can. Doesn't need to be a full redesign, just enough to not look like carbon copies under the hood.
