Gemini or ChatGPT in 2026?

I use both, but I'm still more used to the ChatGPT.

I use both, and not only them. There are now many convenient AIs for different tasks.
I can tell you how I create simple websites that I would have paid $200 to coders for.
1. I start by crafting a good prompt using DeepSeek.
2. I give it to ChatGPT to generate the HTML and CSS code.
3. I pass it to Gemini for revisions and improvements.
4. Then I hand it over to DeepSeek again for final refinements. The result is pretty good.
I also sometimes feed the responses from one AI into another AI, which gives me a kind of averaged truth.

But lately, Gemini surpassed ChatGPT in every way, much more correct and smarter and faster answers. Is it me or really like that?

ChatGPT still hallucinates a lot.

Which is better depends on a use case. They are both equally good.

I think Gemini is strong in real-time updates, multimodal processing (images/documents), and Google integration.

I started using ChatGPT in December 2022, but recently ran into problems with it, so I decided to cancel my paid subscription.

I've been considering Gemini for some time and plan to try it for a month since it is free. If I like it, I might sign up for a longer plan.

In the UK, ChatGPT costs £20 per month. Gemini is £18.99 per month or £189.99 for a year, which gives a 2-month saving.

After comparing ChatGPT and Gemini and looking at their features, I think Gemini is a better option for me.

I asked for help on an assignment ... chatgpt and claude initially got the question wrong until i pushed back. gemini got it right and pushed back on their answer.

people go with chatgpt because its the most known, but gemini is a damn beast.
