Its possible to still make money from old methods but you need to apply your own twist to them, and think outside the box. Copying them 1:1 will most likely not work as most are saturated.

No I don't follow, it's public method all the way. Maybe some people who "adapt" and "creative" earn money, but some people who only obvious and scalable without thinking don't

I've tried many different setups and found that some people are still making money using "old methods" on BHW. These old methods that still work are usually those that can "evolve" over time (e.g., affiliate marketing/lead generation models, content + distribution, digital products, etc.), rather than fixed tricks.

Yeah they can still work but the twist part is what matters. A few that still hold up:

Old method: scraping leads from Yellow Pages and cold emailing local businesses. Twist: focus on one niche (plumbers, roofers, HVAC) and use AI to personalize outreach at scale. People are still doing $3k-$10k per month this way in 2025-2026.

Old method: Fiverr arbitrage. Twist: specialize in something that blew up recently like AI video editing, voiceovers, or automation setup. Generic VA arbitrage is dead, niche arbitrage still works fine.

Old method: content sites with Adsense. Twist: comparison tools and buyer-intent pages for SaaS products with affiliate commissions. Way higher RPMs than regular blog content and Google still sends traffic to these.

The methods themselves are not dead, the saturated copy-paste execution of them is. Most people quit when it gets competitive, which is exactly when it gets more profitable for the ones who adapt.

So be sure to add your own twist to any method .

Everything gets saturated at some point. So, it's better to breakdown the method and find the parts that are creative or working. You can use these segments for brainstorming when you add twists or create your own methods.

Some older methods can still work, but most of the truly “old-school” ones are way less effective now. A lot depends on how you adapt them to today’s platforms, trends, and algorithms. Straight reuse without tweaks usually won’t bring results. It’s more about updating the method than expecting it to work as-is.
