New Section 3 Rule: 3.15 Restriction of Contact Information

As a buyer can I send me tg to people by dm? I don’t want to violate anything
As Miss @PetraAnn shared that is OK to do:

3.15 No posting off forum contact information except in signatures, first post of a sales thread and via DM. This includes, but is not limited to messaging services, emails or websites.

Great one
Those using premium membership to scam will.have will be reduced greatly

For a marketplace thread ower i think you guys should at least leave the possibility to bump the thread with the website link.

If you guys want to really keep up and double check if a legit thread is still live and providing legit services, instead of just checking at the approval if they seller provide good services, randomly every 3 or 4 months you can ask to recheck their services on the marketplace thread

i think this way will be way more helpful instead of just you know stopping marketplace sellers to bump with their website link

Just my opinion

This idea is very reasonable ✍️ Almost all of our clients come to our website through the link in our latest relevant posts

However, we comply with the new rules. The text of our posts has been changed. We now ask clients to go to the first page (clickable link) in order to see all our contact details:

We will be monitoring the results of this change over the next few months. It's not impossible that we decide it necessary to tweak the rules. For now, I'd suggest linking the 1st post of your Sales Thread as part of your bump.

If i can also let you note something - ideally sellers or jr vip members, people that can have signature must also have a live sale thread - so you guys can check the services provided by this sellers - jr vip - before allowing people to sell just by buying a jr vip

This has come up before, and once again, not an impossibility for the future. However, one thing at a time so we can see the results. If we make too many changes at once, it's impossible to know what's working. Digital Marketing 101! ;-)

Adding the contact information for a thread bump (sorry, you'll have to figure something else out that refers users back to the 1st post).

This actually will decrease the outbound links but, may have negative impact on sellers sales.
Sales on BHW are probably not the same as they used to be, traffic also seems quite less. Spam posts are increasing. Though it is best in world probably but yes sales are comparatively not as great as they were used to be after using advertisement as well.

Making or posting contact info without links should be allowed in the bump in form of image or something without link (that is just my point of view)

Then renting signature space feature will also wipe out.

it means one has to link to the 1st post
as a future seller, is it ok to bump my sales thread and link to my DM. Like:

Contact: https://www.blackhatworld.com/direct-messages/add?to=HarmonyHokage

Instead of linking to my first post? This way users can click the link in the bumped reply instead of going to the first post and find the contact info.

Saves 1 click, we keep users inside BHW and users don't get lost in the first post trying to find the contact info.

Yes, that's fine.
I have a question suppose if someone is not having a thread, and he paid for JR .vip then if he want to sell something as a free lancer. Then, how will he DM thread with contact info? or how will he reply with thread in HAF and WTB .
Can you please clarify this?

I hope this new rules protects us against scammers.

The tools for connecting with customers are limited.
So how will we communicate with people?
Personally, as an administrator, I would create a chat application.
That way, all the data can be backed up.

The best solution here is:
All VIP members registered on the exchange must verify, update their profiles, and pay insurance.
They must all pay insurance. This insurance ensures that in the event of fraud, the entire amount will be transferred to the victim.
When they stop using the service and no longer wish to participate in the forum,
the administrator will send a notification that the service has ceased operation. During that time, if no one files a lawsuit, their insurance money will be refunded.
This is the best solution; it couldn't be better.
