How to start YT automation?

Keywords, relevant videos for keywords and ads or links. That's it.

Well, that's a lot of planning and building. You need some skills.

But the easiest thing for this I think is just automating videos for CPA.

To start AI YouTube automation, you need to choose a good niche to create content. Then write a good script. Do voiceover, visuals and editing. After creating the video, upload it and continue working on it on the YouTube channel regularly.
and how is it the automation?

What do you mean by YT Automation exactly?
I was thinking of using famous content creators' clips and upload them in shorts, i have seen many channels doing this.

Starting YouTube automation is a great idea! To begin, you’ll need a clear niche (finance, tech, motivation, facts, etc.) and a solid content strategy. Research trending topics and analyze successful channels in your niche. Next, build a small team or system: a scriptwriter, voiceover artist (or AI voice), video editor, and thumbnail designer. You’ll also need tools for scripting, video editing, stock footage, and keyword research. Create a posting schedule and stay consistent. Focus on strong titles, SEO optimization, and eye-catching thumbnails. Most importantly, be patient—growth takes time, testing, and continuous improvement to succeed long term.
In this case, I will be doing everything. How is this automation buddy?
As an automation dev and former amazon IT guy, I can tell you very first that you need a seriously thick wallet and an expert to roll a custom software, all the off the mill stuff will not work.

That's the first thing, you're looking at tens out thousands of usd to get something that will really work.

It's not the scale that makes this particularly hard, even 1 automated account makes it hard as your opponent is an app in the form of a browser or YouTube is your target.

I'd stick to browser , the alternative is very many real devices, but real phone automation , one that survives Google, is really complicated.
i didn't what you are trying to say, can you make it clear please?

You need a lot of $$$$$ for that
But why buddy? can't I just get some live streams and use an AI to get some good clips and post those daily with some good hashtags
To get started with YouTube automation and not waste your money, you need four things:
Choose a narrow niche with low competition and a high CPM (don't go for the top 10 popular ones; dig into sub-niches using TubeBuddy / vidIQ / OutlierKit).
A budget of $400–$1,500 for the first 2–3 months.
A clear, repeatable workflow that can be handed over to freelancers after 1–2 months.
Understand that 90% of new channels fail due to overused/low-impact content – make the value higher than average, even if you use AI.
Without the first two points, even $5,000 won't save you. Start with a niche and test 3–5 videos.

Good luck
where do i have to invest these dollars? what i have to buy?

What type of content are you planning (AI content, faceless, movie clips...?)? and what's your niche and do you have a budget?
Each has different hurdles, so it's good to consider all those possibilities before starting.

I want to upload live streams and Vlogs clips on YT Shorts.

I don't have a fix budget but I can spend money if i see it worthy

What do you expect to do? Someone to just hand over all the details of their operation, and for you to copy it, pump out hundreds/thousands of crappy ai slop clips, and make millionz?

Creativity before content. You obviously havn't made a study of whats successful and how to do it. If your automating you'll end up banned anyway, so whats the point? Thats good for us content creators that are legit and not spammers though :) Carry on regardless! lol

I totally understand your point but i was thinking to try it for once, I do my own business and earn well.

Just want to try if some 2 digits $ are even possible with this thing, I would love to have, and I totally understand your point.

Using AI to create content saves time and effort, enables fast video production, and allows for fully automated workflows.
as @Panther28 said above, will it get me banned if yes, then how can I avoid being ban?

rujasisthku, I think most people are missing one key point here.

YouTube is not punishing AI.

YouTube is punishing lack of originality.

There’s a big difference.

I have a few newer channels that monetized recently and they use AI in the workflow. Script assistance, AI voice on some of them, AI visuals in parts. No issues. The problem starts when the channel is basically a copy machine.

What YouTube is doing now is enforcing rules that were already there: reused content, low value content, repetitive formats with no transformation. That has nothing to do with “AI voice bad” or “automation dead”. It has to do with people cloning whatever just worked last week.

Let me explain it in a simple way.

Imagine HBO releases The Sopranos. Huge success. Amazing writing, great characters, strong execution.

Now someone sees it’s trending and creates The Sopranis. Same mafia structure, same personality types, just moves it to Rio and renames Tony Soprano to Zé Galinha. Then someone else launches The Copranos set in India. Then Morocco Mafia. Same skeleton, same beats, slightly different costumes.

At some point the platform is flooded with 50 versions of the same idea.

What happens?

Viewers get confused.
The original loses momentum.
The copies are lower quality.
The overall experience drops.

That’s exactly what happens on YouTube when one video blows up and 200 channels feed the idea into AI and push out cheap clones in 20 days.

That hurts everyone:
It hurts the original creator.
It hurts viewers.
It hurts YouTube as a product.

So the platform tightens enforcement. Not against AI. Against lazy duplication.

And there are clear examples showing AI is not the issue when originality is present.

Look at Neuro-sama. It’s literally an AI-driven VTuber personality doing livestreams. That’s AI at the core. But it’s original, interactive, and built as a unique character. It built a massive following because it creates something new, not recycled.

Then you have channels like Crime Scene Cam or Space Matters. They use automation workflows, AI narration in some cases, stock + generated visuals. But the storytelling, structure, and research are theirs. They’re not re-uploading someone else’s format with a different thumbnail color. They add interpretation and value.

That’s the difference.

You can absolutely build a system:
Script framework.
AI-assisted writing.
AI voice if needed.
Generated visuals.
Editors.
Repeatable pipeline.

Nothing wrong with that.

What you cannot do long term is build a channel whose only strategy is “this video got 2M views, let’s make the same thing slightly worse and hope for ad money.”

That’s not a business. That’s a temporary exploit.

And here’s the bigger picture that people ignore: when YouTube filters out low-effort clones, it actually increases opportunity for creators who are building something real. Less noise. Less spam. Higher CPM stability. Better audience trust.

In the long run, that creates more value for everyone who treats this like a serious content business instead of a quick cash grab.

Automation works.
AI works.
Monetization still works.

Originality is the non-negotiable part.

If you focus on building a format that is yours, even if AI is part of the engine, you’re aligned with where the platform is heading. If you focus on copying whatever trended yesterday, you’re fighting the system.

And the system always wins.

Building on the idea of starting small, I found that creating a content calendar with 20-30 video titles and descriptions before launching a channel is crucial for consistency and saving time in the long run. Tested this approach with three different niches, and the one with a well-planned content calendar saw a 35% increase in audience engagement within the first 6 weeks. Also, instead of using expensive tools like TubeBuddy or vidIQ for niche research, I use a combination of Google Trends and Keyword Planner to find sub-niches with low competition and high CPM, which works just as well. One of my channels, focused on a sub-niche in the personal finance space, reached $1,500 in monthly ad revenue within 4 months using this approach.

I want to start YouTube automation!

What I actually need to start?
You want to write the code or just use the youtube automation? If you want to get start, maybe you can get the help from tubeassistpro which is automation.

For tools, you’ll need a script (you can write it or use AI), a voiceover (your voice or tools like ElevenLabs), video editing (like CapCut), and thumbnails (Canva is enough to start). You don’t need a team at first — just keep it simple.

I think to start automating YouTube, you need to choose a niche, create content (scripts, voiceovers, and editing), and have tools to support posting/scaling, but you should prioritize quality content to avoid limitations.

It’s easier to start than it seems — the key is not trying to automate everything at once. First, choose a niche and format, then gradually add tools: idea generation, scripts, editing. Automation works best when there’s a clear system, not chaos

Starting YouTube automation in 2026 can be very profitable, but it’s important to understand the right workflow, niche selection, and tools. Done poorly, channels stall or get demonetized.

I would pick a niche and make 5–10 videos myself first, not sure if I would jump straight into automation without even knowing what works.

In 2026, the "one-click" automation tools you see for sale are a death trap for your accounts. If you want to actually scale without getting flagged, you need to build your own setup.

Get into Python. It’s the industry standard for a reason. But don’t just grind through dry tutorials—use Claude AI as your coding partner. It's miles ahead for scripting automation and will help you build custom tools 10x faster than trying to learn everything from scratch.

Mastering Python + Claude is basically a superpower for YT automation right now. It gives you total control over your workflow and lets you stay flexible when the algorithm shifts. Focus on that, and you'll be ahead of 90% of the people in this niche.

You can start automating YouTube with AI by choosing a topic to create content. Then, create a good, engaging script, film, and edit your videos so you can upload high-quality content. Post your videos regularly.

quick question so we can asnwer you better, are you planning faceless videos, Shorts, or long videos?
Faceless channel, and probably Shorts but i can try long videos also
