Effective Thursday, February 19th, Ezoic is officially transitioning its platform requirements to focus on enterprise-level web applications and high-traffic publishers. New publishers will need 250,000+ monthly users to join the platform.

Your account is not affected. As an existing partner, you're grandfathered in and will retain full access to the Ezoic platform and monetization features regardless of your current traffic volume.

What's changing for new publishers: Going forward, new partnerships require 250K+ monthly users. However, we're also launching Ezoic Incubator, accepting 20 publishers per month below the threshold who want to grow with us.

Maximizing your grandfathered access: To get the most value from your account, we recommend utilizing our latest technological solutions:
  • Lightweight JS Integration: Our primary integration is now a streamlined JavaScript snippet. This allows you to deploy the full power of Ezoic’s machine learning optimizations, with no DNS or nameserver configuration required.
  • Enhanced Identity Infrastructure: Recent investments in first-party data capabilities have resulted in significant EPMV increases for active publishers. By maintaining your integration, you benefit from these improvements in traffic identification and ad demand.
About continuity of service: Your grandfathered status is tied to continuous service. Should you deactivate for more than 90 days and later want to return, you'd need to either meet the 250K threshold or apply through Incubator (limited to 20 spots per month).

We remain committed to providing the sophisticated solutions necessary for your continued growth. You can review the full details of our platform expansion in our latest press release.

They want current users not to try other services and stick to them.
I think that is a possibility. Also, the blogging landscape is not what it used to be before HCU, and I believe many of their publishers were affected by the Google updates.

Also, with Mediavine's new Journey program now accepting publishers with 10k views per month, I think it is becoming harder for them.

It's definitely becoming harder for them. Ezoic is pure garbage in my opinion.

Agreed. They want people to stick to their garbage services.

Sounds like the founders want to milk as much as possible and exit.

this basically killed the small publisher relationship ezoic built its whole reputation on, mediavine journey and newor media are picking up the slack now

yeah the 90 day rule is the real trap here. they know everyone is jumping ship to mediavine journey. who in their right mind with 250k monthly visits is going to choose ezoic over raptive anyway? their tech has always been bloated and ruins UX. this is just a move to cut down support costs and fluff up their numbers for an acquisition.
