Why is crypto, gold , silver all going down ?

Right now, crypto, gold, and silver are all down because risk appetite is low, investors are nervous about rates, the dollar, and the economy. Most money is moving into cash and safe government bonds while people wait for clarity.

interest rates are still high, those 3 asset need cheap money.Cash and treasuries is the safe place

When is the situation expected to change ?

It's just a correction. the prices went up abnormally.

Crypto is in its correction phase of the standard 4 year BTC cycle (apparently, it's still working)

Gold and silver have had an unsustainable pump, it's normal to see some correction

There is less correction on gold but silver looks like it will end up lower to 3 year old prices.

As far as I know gold price is all time high now, yes crypto is really bad. And I dont believe cash is the reason. There must have something inside which we dont know and will never know at all.

All these markets are manipulated by the whales. Crypto market is highly manipulated by the whales and these whales make enormous profits by getting traders liquidated. It is easy for them, because they know that 98% of traders do technical analysis or depend on technical analysis. So, the whales will manipulate prices in a way that various technical analysis would indicate a price to go up and vast majority of traders will hence trade long. Soon thereafter when there is good liquidity to grab at the bottom, the whales will liquidate all these traders who traded long.
Likewise, the whales will manipulate prices in a way that various technical analysis would indicate a price to go down and vast majority of traders will hence trade short. Soon thereafter when there is good liquidity to grab at the top, the whales will liquidate all these traders who traded short. And, whales rinse and repeat this non-stop.
In my case, I do not depend on technical analysis.

I think it's interesting to consider the role of market manipulation in the current crypto and commodity markets. As arig0ld mentioned, we are seeing a correction phase in crypto, and gold and silver are also experiencing fluctuations. awesomewebsites' question about where the money is moving to now is a great one - are we seeing a shift towards more traditional assets or is there another emerging market that's gaining traction? It's also worth noting that the manipulation by whales, as you've described, can make it challenging for individual traders to make informed decisions. Do you think there are any strategies that traders can use to mitigate the impact of market manipulation and make more informed investment decisions?

May be big banks are manipulating ?

I think we must take it as seperate assets.
Gold and silver into one.... crypto into other.
I Think these two are not highly related to each other. Crypto is down due to decreasing interest, loss of value, interest of investor, risk appetite, liquidity.
Gold silver is down i think it is for short term because they gained so much in last 2 years

Usually this happens because of macro factors affecting all markets at the same time. A strong U.S. dollar and rising bond yields pull money away from assets like gold, silver, and crypto. Gold especially struggles when interest rates stay high because it does not produce yield.
Also when liquidity tightens or markets get nervous, investors often sell multiple assets together and move to cash or bonds for safety. So even assets that normally move differently can drop at the same time.

I think the markets are very tense right now because of the war, and the situation of the war is also unclear. Because of this, the markets are fluctuating up and down. Oil is currently a popular investment because Iran could close the Strait of Hormuz. That's my opinion btw.
