Following on from my previous post about minimal AI motion and idle-style visuals.
The direction is becoming clearer - less about generating movement and more about controlling restraint and loop behaviour.
What I’m now interested in is the editing side rather than generation itself.
Specifically:
• creating seamless 20–40 second loops where the loop point disappears
• joining multiple loops together without introducing a “scene change” feeling
• keeping camera locked and motion environmental rather than performance-based
• visuals intended to sit under full music tracks rather than short AI clips
This feels closer to cinemagraph thinking than traditional video editing.
Curious if anyone here is working as a loop editor or has experience building longer pieces from minimal repeating segments.
Also interested if there are specific tools people prefer for this - Resolve, After Effects, Runway, or anything newer that handles loop continuity particularly well.
Not looking for flashy animation - more interested in timing and what not to move.
