The Invisible Man closer to reality

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Scientists say they are a step closer to developing materials that could render people and objects invisible.

Researchers have demonstrated for the first time they were able to cloak three-dimensional objects using artificially engineered materials that redirect light around the objects.

Previously, they only have been able to cloak very thin two-dimensional objects.

The findings, by scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, are to be released later this week in the journals Nature and Science.

The new work moves scientists a step closer to hiding people and objects from visible light, which could have broad applications, including military ones.

Even if they figure out how to do it, they'll never admit to it. The gov't is probably swooping down on these scientists as I write this. We are all puppets.

i read about 10 years ago that the army has suits composed of tiny digital pixels that does this sort of thing. it supposedly works the way predators cloaking worked, mimicking the surrounding to become invisible.

Yeah this sort of technology is probably being developed or already nearly developed in the military sectors - stuff that we just dont get to see.

i feel you on that one. i just cant believe they dont have or cant find a cure for it. plus its way more money in treating people with medicine and chemo to make it where people can live with the disease. If people get cured and vaccinated, the money dries up.

Exactly, I don't want to turn this into a zeitgeist thread but, it is amazing what "they" get away with, there are so many tools at there disposal to keep people distracted from what is really going on.

Seriously, this is not surprising at all. I bet they have already perfected the technology years ago. The US military even has already replicated the Alien spaceship which possess zero gravity and super acceleration.

btw, about 12 years ago i saw a show on the a&e channel about how the u.s. gov. had actually developed (believe it or not) a very primitive form of anti-gravity propulsion for their aircraft. even tho they kept telling everyone that it was impossible to do this, as it violated the laws of physics.

they called it, ''fuelless propulsion' and they were actually able to get some very heavy aircraft off the ground by using this technology. do a google search on the terms, 'fuelless propulsion' or 'fueless propulsion' and see what comes up.

i'm not a fan of conspiracy theory, but i don't believe governments tell the whole truth.
