Holding BTC

How much I should wait for it?

then I think i should gather some extra funds to just but BTC and forget. So, we can have some good profit in future.

not an expert but mayb the price will go down again

i need an actual advice! Should i buy BTC of $500 right now?

Not Ethereum Ethereum Classic only.
Don’t wait. Buy $250 worth now.
After a gold pump, buy another $250.
That’s it man.

ETC can hit $50–$80 in the next pump.

It could take months or even a year.

⚠️ This is NOT financial advice.

Do your own research (DYOR).

Crypto investments involve risk.

no one knows for sure if BTC will hit 100k but if you believe in it long term and can handle the swings, holding is fine. if the stress is too much, it is also okay to step back

It’ll start going back eventually but you’ll need to be patient, that’s why people always say to never put in more than you’re willing to part with.

I believe btc will go big because of all the reglementation and big funds can invest in it unlike before...... but the issue is the price will be first highly manipulate to take over the retail investors and slow and sure the btc power will get into the hands of those investments funds they may sell it back to retail at insane prices

I’d suggest to keep holding if you haven’t sold yet, I think the worst of this downtrend is behind us and we’ll start seeing a slow climb not too long from now.

If you can't afford to lose it, you shouldn't have bought at these prices. But since you're already in, just hold and don't check the charts every day, you'll drive yourself crazy. BTC always recovers eventually, question is just timing.

The price is currently going down but will surely bounce back. To bounce back, it will certainly take months. Many people are accepting it, even business are doing that too so the price will surely go up.

BTC like fiat currency has no inherent value, its worth is determined purely by social argeement and market demand. Whilst it is reasonable to believe the price of BTC may rise in the long-term as adoption becomes more widespread, nobody actually knows when (or if) the price will recover.

Im not a financial advisor, but unless you have to I would try to avoid realising your loses or more simply HODL - particularly if you plan to buy more BTC in the future. As a general piece of advice, never put more money into crypto than you would put down at a poker table, whether thats 0.1%, 5% or 20% of your networth.

As hypocritcal as it sounds don't take financial advice from here, BHW is not an investing forum.

you are right, but i am willing to hold because if USDT funds are not my primary funds so i can bond them there.

Holding it still, with a good loss but hoping for the best.

that's a good advice i think i should forget about charts\

So, the conclusion is that I am going to hold coin. I am not going for a loss trade.

Thank you everyone for their advices

Just remember, time in the market > timing the market.

And you can't lose if you don't sell.

I have BTC from 80s - 90s level as well so even with the recent dip, I'm not selling.

if bear started, you might wait 2-4 years until btc price comes to the level you bought it.
and before that the price might drop to $50k or even less.
if you can wait, wait. if you sell from desperation, your money goes to people that can wait and actually buy the bottom

This is the ideal time to buy and hold BTC for the longer term (say 5 years or more), the price has been artificially depressed for a few months now. If the much projected major war erupts/resumes in the Mideast, the escalation could involve an economic mess for the West, leading to a major drop in the value of the US dollar and other currencies. BTC should be one of the alternative resources that climb as a result.

The bad thing is that you violated the 1st rule of buying crypto -

"NEVER spend more money than you can afford to lose"

Fact - Your money was GONE when you bought crypto.
You are the "exit liquidity" for the victims that sold to you

All crypto is a "ponzi scheme" because the money from your purchase
pays off the previous buyers, convincing them that the "program works"
In reality the tokens have no worth because they are backed by nothing.

Ask the AI how much REAL money is in the crypto system. It will tell
you that 92% of all crypto holders will be left holding the empty bag.

Crypto is a tiny gambling casino alongside the medium sized stock
market casino and the GIANT Forex casino.

They are all there to extract revenue from the "unwashed masses"
which is us. Watch "Trading Places". Wallstreet are bookies and
they don't care the direction of the market. They take a cut of every
transaction.

If you can exit without losing too much money, then do it.

There is going to be a crash of all markets including crypto.
The zombie companies must be killed and the debt written off
so that the entire thing can start again. The system requires
"growth" to survive.

The time to gamble with crypto is after the crash.
I like Solana at $5.00. I like Atom at $0.10

Sincerely,

You are all very pessimistic about price. So my guess is that we're close to bottom. Time to buy

Exactly, I am getting news that it might get to the $47k to $48k, is it really going to happen?

It wouldnt surprise me at all if it goes down to that figure. If you already have Bitcoin then you can just sit tight, if it does go that low, buy some more for sure. But if you dont have any Bitcoin and you are waiting to jump in, but hesitating because you think price will go lower, I would say just buy it and don't worry about the price because in my experience its the biggest factor that results in people never buying Bitcoin - because they always think its the wrong time to buy and the result: they never buy any.

buy btc and hodl.

thats the only thing you need to know and do

No one could actually answer. But if you are concerned about catching the falling knife, always stick to DCA so you spread your risks across various price points.

Most importantly, don't keep looking at the charts. :)
