Interesting journey, but managing 1,000 accounts sounds risky on Reddit long-term. Have you tested whether fewer high-quality accounts with real engagement performs better? Also curious how you’re handling content quality + avoiding repetitive posting patterns, since Reddit users spot that fast. Keep us updated on results.

It's not risky but rather difficult for one person to handle without any automation. I am working on the automation part so that I don't have to manually work on all the accounts. At the moment, I am posting + commenting myself from all the accounts, which is limiting my overall vision.

That’s a big experiment. How are you planning to stay compliant with Reddit rules around spam/manipulation, and what safeguards are you using to avoid harming communities? Also curious what metrics you’ll track (post-to-upvote ratio, account survival rate, bans, and traffic quality) over the 100 days.​

Right now, I am not worried about harming communities, as I am doing everything by hand apart from the account creation and warmup. The only metric I care about is the Karma on each account. Nothing else matters to me. Not all posts are going to be trending, but once I have enough karma, I can target other niches that I have in mind.

btw. how do you plan to promote cpa links to your subreddit. Pinned post and link in the welcome message can be tricky with Reddit

Some posts will have links, pinned posts, and link on the sidebar will be used once I get comfortable with Reddit. I am fairly new to the platform.

So, this is what kept me up for two nights. Smh, the accounts are getting banned on a massive scale, which wasn't the case when I switched to this new proxy provider. So, I ran all the data I had through some ML models and found that the reason is related to proxies. Going to work on the ML part once I finish creating more accounts. 3000 rows is not much data, but I found that the proxy pool was very limited, and the same proxies repeated after some time.




On my two main accounts, I have achieved 15K and 5K in karma (a personal account I have for 2 years). Working on 10 more accounts side by side, manually for now. 100 accounts are currently being warmed up using my own tool.

So yeah, it’s been a bit since my last update. I’m still very much working on this journey, just been knee-deep in growing Reddit accounts, which honestly takes more time and attention than I expected.

New accounts are extremely fragile. Even a small mistake or wrong signal can get them nuked. I ended up losing a few solid accounts during the warming phase, and that one hurt because they were actually doing well in one of the top subs… until a mod stepped in and banned them. Safe to say, my love for Reddit mods has officially dropped to zero.

On the positive side, the two main accounts I’ve been actively focusing on are doing really well. One of my personal accounts crossed 35K karma over the weekend and is now sitting at 48K. That alone confirmed a few things are definitely working. The second account is sitting at 24.5K karma.

Tracking karma manually, account by account, quickly became unmanageable. Instead of looking for some third-party tool or script, I decided to build my own. I’ll drop a few screenshots below so you can see how I’m monitoring changes and activity across accounts.



I’ve also managed to identify the core reasons behind the mass bans I was seeing earlier, and I now have a rough idea of what helps a post start trending inside a subreddit. It’s still not 100% consistent, more hit-or-miss at the moment, but I’m actively refining what actually pushes posts into visibility.


More testing is in progress. I’ll share further updates once I have clearer patterns and repeatable results.

1000+ accounts manually is ambitious. The suspension wave thing you mentioned in your earlier post - yeah that's the biggest pain point with Reddit right now.

Few questions since I'm curious about the operation:

- What's your account survival rate looking like after the first week of activity?
- Are you mixing residential proxies or going datacenter?
- How much time per account per day for "manual" growth?

The longer the accounts sit idle, the worse the outcome. I need to start warming them up as soon as they’re created, which still needs testing. Right now, I’m focused on older batches and gradually building some high-karma accounts that will be used to create subs.

All residential. I tested a batch warming up on datacenter (VPN) proxies, but the results weren’t great; the ban rate was noticeably higher.

- How much time per account per day for "manual" growth?

Honestly, this is taking a lot of time. Between growing my personal account and working on automation, I don’t have much bandwidth to focus on many accounts, only a handful. A lot of them are getting banned as I’m still learning how Reddit works. I tend to learn by doing, even if that means FAFO.

I also had to JV to cover the costs of testing the setup. Plus, if it works, I will make some money. The guy seems great.

Small update with my main account:



Currently working on automated content/comment posting. It's taking longer than I thought because Reddit discontinued its API for free users.

Lately, I’ve been putting in a lot more hours, especially now that I have a clearer understanding of how Reddit behaves. I’m currently working on multiple accounts at the same time, and one thing that’s become pretty obvious to me is that accounts running directly on mobile phones perform much better in terms of ban ratio. So far, they’ve been holding up noticeably better than anything I’ve run through an anti-detect browser.

This is just based on my own testing so far; your results might point to other factors, and I’d genuinely be interested to hear what others have noticed.

I’m sharing stats from a few of the accounts I’m actively working on. From what I’ve seen, the fastest way to grow karma is still the same: spot trend-worthy posts early and drop a witty, highly agreeable comment that fits the sub’s tone. There really isn’t another method that comes close in terms of speed.

That said, Reddit is gonna Reddit. One of my main accounts got banned from a sub after gaining solid traction on a viral video. No clear reason, mods didn’t like it apparently. I messaged them, but we all know how that usually ends.

On the automation side, I’ve started with scraping adult GIFs for now. Posting automation from multiple accounts is next on the list and should be done later this week.

I’ll likely be traveling next week, so updates might slow down a bit. Let’s see how much progress I can squeeze in before then.

With your high karma account, you could probably make your own subreddits and astroturf it with some of your others. Jacky Chow did something like this a while back, I think it was a review type of sub and he flooded it with affiliate links and I think he saw a good return on it,...

It’s been a solid couple of days. Just crossed 100K karma on my personal account, which feels like a pretty big milestone for me, not gonna lie.
The second account is sitting at 56K right now. If things go as planned, it should cross 60K tonight and hopefully touch 100K by the end of the week, assuming real life doesn’t get in the way.
Bans are still happening left and right, but at this point, I’m pretty numb to it. When one goes down, I just rotate to another and keep moving. It’s part of the process now.
On the dev side, I found a few solid open-source libraries that look promising. Planning to integrate them into my warming setup and see if they improve stability and efficiency.
Let’s see how the next few days play out.

1) I can see that you are using Dolphin Anty + residential proxies, do you mind sharing your current proxy supplier?
2) All your setup is on pc, right? Not on mobile phones
3) How about links, are you currently posting links with any of those accounts? If so, is it significantly affecting their survival ratio?
4) What is your monetization plan for those accounts? Do you intend to sell them, build subreddits to sell them or will you work with affiliate marketing and promotion?
