I don't get 'moral' too often but when it comes to pornhub.... I do.
There are los of non-adult gif hosts but no many porn.. even less allow you to upload large files

You can always DM me when you find one just so I can check if they embed properly.
People today have a 30 to 40 second attention span. AND... unfortunately, it takes 10 to 20 seconds for their brains to understand what they're looking at.
A 30s sex gif works perfectly for giving people a reason to signup to the forum.

I messed around with the code and got Iframe working. So now it's just redgifs

RedGifs is the go-to for this.
Only downside is they compress heavy sometimes on larger files.
Originally, I didn't want to use redgifs because of our American customers. (Redgifs is compling with the "age verification" bullshit)
My partners and I don't comply with governments and we tend to try to avoid people who do.
But there doesn't seem to be a substitute for Redgifs.... So, we're using them until we find replacement.
