Curious how others handle this, do you use your personal Facebook account for your online marketing ventures, or keep a separate profile? I’ve always preferred keeping personal and business completely separate.

Most marketers choose to keep their personal and work accounts separate for better management and privacy protection. This helps control activity and reduces risks when working with advertising long-term.

I personally use my personal acc but it depends on what youre selling tbh like if its a one time product use your personal acc and if u sell or like do wholesale, i suggest use a seperate business acc though its hard to gain organic followers but just keep in mind what the trends are

It's best to assign clear roles to different accounts, but if you're using a Facebook account for marketing, you need to build a brand to gain credibility with customers

The only viable way long term would be multi-accounting. I guess in the end it’s also very much depending on the niche you’re in and what kind of promotions you’re doing.

I keep them separate 100%. A clean account (or BM + pages) is safer, easier to scale and way more professional long term.

Hey friend, in my experience, all marketing professionals choose to separate personal and work accounts for easier management. Personal accounts contain more confidential information and many conversations, while work accounts only receive work-related information.

I don't use personal accounts to advertise directly; instead, I usually use accounts created by Business Managers for advertising, so I can also separate them.

If you use Facebook for business, you should use your main (real) account, as it helps build trust and credibility with customers.

Best practice:

Use your personal account for:
  • Friends, family, real-life connections
  • Private posts and opinions
  • Authentic personal interaction

Use a separate Facebook Page (not another personal profile) for marketing:
  • Business/brand promotion
  • Ads, insights, analytics
  • Public visibility and credibility
  • Compliance with Facebook’s rules

I always keep them separate it reduces risk, keeps things cleaner, and makes it much easier to manage scale and compliance long-term. Mixing personal and business usually creates problems sooner or later.

Absolutely, separating them is necessary; work accounts are very easy to get locked.

Keeping personal and business separate makes managing your marketing simpler and keeps your brand consistent

Using the same personal account for marketing is quite risky. No one can guarantee that mistakes won't happen in business; just one small error can cause your personal account to disappear. Therefore, it's crucial to keep your personal account and business/marketing account separate.

We usually recommend keeping personal and business accounts separate. Beyond content and behavior, it also helps to separate them at the browser environment level.

With an anti detect browser, each account runs in its own isolated profile with a consistent fingerprint and session. That way personal and business activity don’t overlap technically, which helps reduce the risk of accounts being linked just because they’re accessed on the same device.

Separation in usage plus separation in environment is generally the most stable approach for multi account management.
