Youtube AI Voices

No, the policies are against 100% spammy and repetitive AI generated videos. But if your content is human + using AI voice, there is no problem

AI voices are fine by themselves. Monetization issues happen when content is low effort or reused. Original scripts and edits usually stay safe.

Google sells AI services so it will not penalize those. They are demonetized for reused content not because of AI.

No! the youtube policy is against the spam or reusing the same content again and again. Youtube don't demonetized the channel that using Ai voice they just target the low effort and repetitive content. So if you have an original content you can use Ai voice for your content. There is no problem for monetizing channel due to using Ai voices.

You may have used prohibited content or engaged in prohibited behavior. This is unrelated to the AI-generated voice.

If you use poor AI where the voice is easily distinguishable from a live one, then yes. But Eleven Labs now has a huge number of voices that are impossible to distinguish from live ones.

Yes some people are still earning with the help of ai.

It has been a couple of months when Youtube content policy changed. Do you know if YouTube has started demonetization of YouTube channels using AI Voices?
You can use AI voices freely and they don't get banned. You need content that is human or appears human in order to avoid shadow (or permanent) bans.

There have been talks and some creators reported their AI-voice videos getting limited or no ads, but there’s no official blanket rule saying all AI voices get demonetized. i see that yt keeps tightening quality standards, so if the content feels low-effort or misleading, it’s more likely to lose monetization than

id say it would be discriminatory to rule out Ai voice entirely as some people have speech impediment or the sound of their voice may be off for whatever reason. Non native English speakers are a good example. As long as the content is not low effort is what matters the most.

There is a guy on a forum i go on and he is from a non Englsih speaking country but talks in English he is actually hard to understand and his Youtube channel would do way better if he used Ai.

YT won't demonetize AI voice but there has to be good content and knowledge in the video. If you use AI scripts and the video is also very bad and just looks like spam it will be removed

Ai voices are fine. I use them for animations. More frequently i use TTS voices for wojaks, and there are lots of monitised wojak channels, so its not a problem.

Yt hasn't done a blanket demonetization just for using ai voices, but they are totally cracking down on channels with zero human value or original content, so if it's just basic ai narration without any real human touch, then yeah, demonetization is definitely a thing

YT doesn’t demonetize you just because you use AI for voice or anything else, it demonetizes content that adds no real value. If you make another same-old channel, there’s always a risk you won’t get monetized, but if your content has its own personality and actually stands out, an AI voice is not a problem.

I feel like they have been targeting AI voices as of recently. It's generally safer to use your own voice or pay voice actors if you have the budget, or making the voice sound less robotic as possible.

I think nothing wrong with AI voice. Infact after using it my search traffic gradually increase from 100 ish to 700+. Edit the script directly from Google search AI to help the writing, and I also dont pay for the voice itself. I am using Google own voice over Google studio. So production wise, it technically just Canva business. around 130k IDR
