Hey everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself properly before diving into the forums.

**Background:**
I'm João, a full-stack developer based in Portugal with about 4+ years of professional experience. Started coding when I was 14 (mIRC scripts and C, back in the day), took some detours in life, but eventually found my way back to what I love — and now I do this full-time.

**What I Do:**
I build web applications, dashboards, and MVPs using:
- React / Next.js / TypeScript
- Node.js + PostgreSQL / Supabase
- Also do animations/interactions (GSAP, Three.js) when projects need polish

Mostly worked on SaaS products, management platforms, and data-driven dashboards. Recently started exploring more freelance work and interested in the AI/automation space that seems big here.

**Why I'm Here:**
Looking to connect with people building interesting products, learn from experienced marketers and developers, and potentially find some solid freelance opportunities. I've been lurking for a bit and there's clearly a lot of knowledge in this community.

**What I'm Good At:**
- Building MVPs fast without cutting corners
- Clean code, scalable architecture
- Working async (timezone-friendly for US/EU clients)
- Actually shipping things (not just talking about it)

**What I Want to Learn:**
- Better understanding of affiliate marketing (especially dating/lead gen verticals)
- Traffic strategies that actually work in 2026
- How developers and marketers can collaborate better

Anyway, looking forward to learning from you all and contributing where I can.

Same stack as yours, though I am not afraid of using expressjs in production and render via ejs where it makes sense. I kinda veered of to from business mandated Selenium testing to creating bots via puppeteer, very interesting field but increasingly and rapidly more complicated by the year.

I love the supabase bit
