3. Internal linking & sitemap updates – update internal links and submit an updated sitemap to Google Search Console.
4. Patience – Google often takes a few weeks to fully process and reassign link equity.

If traffic doesn’t start recovering after a month or two, it’s worth checking index coverage and possible crawl errors.

Moving 200 URLs with 301 likely diluted internal linking and overall site relevance which caused a domain wide drop not just those pages

Best move is revert or partially roll back then rebuild internal links and authority slowly because aggressive splitting usually hurts more than helps short term
