Hi,
Earlier my YouTube Shorts were getting millions of views.
Now even 1k views is hard to cross and subscribers are dropping fast.
Nothing changed:
Same Shorts style
Same niche
But suddenly algorithm stopped pushing my videos.
Anyone else facing this recently? Is this a Shorts algorithm issue or something else?
Any suggestions to recover reach?
Thanks.

My views dropped significantly too. But after a few months, the video suddenly appears on the Explore page and starts getting views again. From what I understand, YouTube is looking for loyalty. They're looking for long-term, consistent content uploads.

What is your category and type of content?

It’s common with Shorts, and small drops usually mean you need to refresh your hooks or posting timing.

Yes, this is quite normal, usually, just a few videos with poor retention will cause subsequent videos to lag significantly. In my experience, you should add unique details to your videos, real-life examples, or an opening line that's slightly unexpected to keep viewers engaged. If that still doesn't work, consider switching to a different channel

My content is mainly YouTube Shorts, text-based and simple format in one niche.
I upload consistently now, but I should mention one thing — in between I deleted all my old videos and didn’t upload anything for about one month.
After that break, I started uploading again with the same Shorts style.
Earlier growth was very fast, so maybe YouTube is testing loyalty now.
Do you think deleting old videos and taking that break could have affected algorithm trust or reach?

This is a classic Shorts algorithm reset. The platform frequently shifts to promote new creators, causing sudden drops. To recover, experiment with a new content angle or format within your niche to trigger the algorithm's "newness" signal. Also, increase posting frequency temporarily and leverage trending audio to regain momentum.

If you continue posting videos, it will bounce back and get resolved after a few weeks.
I’ve actually been posting consistently for almost two months now, but it still hasn’t bounced back yet.
That’s why I’m trying to understand what else might be affecting it.

This is because of how short alghorithm work and is nothing to worry about. You should just repost and use different time for posting.

Yeah, this is happening to many people. Shorts algo drops you fast if a few videos get low watch time, even if the content is same.

Try changing hooks a bit, take a short break, then post again and see.

For YouTube reach, I've wasted money on quite a few services that looked good on paper but delivered disappointing results. SMMGOAL has been one of the few that actually met expectations. The pricing is solid, but what really stood out was the support—fast, responsive, and helpful even after the order was completed. That's something you don't come across very often these days.
