It only checks AI-generated content produced with Google tools by detecting the SynthID watermark.

There’s no fully reliable tool to identify AI-generated content. Most detectors (GPTZero, Originality, Turnitin, etc.) only give probabilities and are easy to bypass. Manual review and consistency checks are still more accurate than any single AI detection tool.

most ai detectors are hit or miss, so you mainly look for writing patterns rather than trusting any single tool.

Yeah, but detectors are fine as a quick filter. Final decision still has to be manual.yeah but it takes time to do it manually

Try Originality, Ahrefs (as I noticed) also using to identify AI Content Level.
