Best Proxy Setup for Reddit in 2026?

Hello again.

My goal is to manually send 100 DMs per day on Reddit. No spam, no links, all clean. Just scaled up.

Currently I have all 5 accounts logged into dolphin anty and connecting through NordVPN (I manually rotate IPs that way) but I think commercial VPNs aren't clean, I've seen a lot of restrictions since I've started using a VPN for Reddit.

So I'm wondering:
- If I get residential/mobile IP proxies, how many accounts can I add to a single node?
- Can I push to 100dms per day on a single node sustainably?

You can't really use vpns as proxy, they're known datacenter nodes. It's bound to fail.

You can use residential proxies which is the bare minimum requirement today, but the pools are severely contaminated and they all rotate ips very fast, sometimes between unreasonable geolocations. You gotta check carefully before deploying.

Or static isp, which can be OK, if the ip is brand new and not in a "bad neighborhood" subnet, or worse, asn. So that is challenging. Usually this kind of proxy is abused heavily because they're cheap and offer unmetered bandwidth. It's also DC but it's well masked under the hood.

The proxy sellers get away with murder, selling rubbish everywhere, it's a wonder anything works at all.

Really depends how long your sessions amd accounts are supposed to last.

Do you have any residential proxy that's clean to recommend?

Nodemaven have 12 to 24h sticky time and reasonable rotation patterns, and relatively clean pools, dns is configures fine, it's solid enough. Just make sure to check each ip in a checker, I have my own.

id reccomend an unlimited mobile proxy, reddit will see right through a VPN. you would be able to do all your operations through one single mobile proxy (unless you want to scale), just make sure you rotate the IP in between logins. as long as the IP pool is large enough, you shouldnt face any issues.

Id also choose mobile IP's over Residential, reddit tends to trust them more.

Using a commercial VPN like NordVPN is a primary reason for restrictions; they're heavily flagged IP pools. You need dedicated residential proxies, with one unique IP per account for safety. Even on a clean IP, 100 DMs/day is extremely high risk; Reddit's rate limits are per account, and consistent high-volume messaging from any IP will trigger anti-spam algorithms regardless of content. Aim for far fewer actions per IP.

Running more than one reddit on the same node is asking for slow death. Even if the proxy is clean they still link the traffic shape and the login pattern. I always keep one account per IP because once two get tied the trust drops on both.

Residential or mobile helps but it’s not magic. You can’t push 100 dms through one node without heating it up. Reddit looks at message velocity per IP not just per account so you hit a ceiling no matter how aged the profile is.

Yeah, that combination does make sense. Residential or mobile proxies with good session isolation tend to give more stable results than VPNs.

Reddit hates VPNs; you're better off using residential or mobile proxies. Before interacting on Reddit, check the trust score on Scamalytics. But even with that, you're at a high risk of getting your accounts banned. Reddit heavily restricts unsolicited DMs.

IMO the amount of DMs you can send is highly variable. Some of my accounts were able to send 30+ few days after warming up. Others couldn't send more than 2 a day before getting banned.

Honestly, pushing 100 DMs a day with proxies sounds like trouble, and it’s safer to keep things natural use slowly and with residential proxy.

Reddit proxy setup for 2026, here is what currently works: ISP proxies are the sweet spot, cheaper than mobile and higher trust than regular residential. alternative is 4G mobile with sticky sessions.

ratio is 1 account per IP maximum, the days of running 3 to 5 accounts per proxy on Reddit are over. browser should be Dolphin Anty or AdsPower with consistent fingerprint per account.

settings: WebRTC on alter, timezone matching proxy geo, en US language, 1920x1080 screen. warm accounts 7 to 14 days before any promotional activity and mix in genuine engagement. the accounts that survive are the ones that look like real users who occasionally share something useful.
