Im fucked. Starvation

Thanks for the advice on here but some people jsut cant go out selling at doors or stuff like that.

I hide behind the internet

Of course I feel sorry for your situation. But don't you think it's easier to take ANY job for a while now than becoming homeless and having to beg for food later? You just can't afford to be picky any longer but you have to grab ANY chance you'll get to overcome the situation you are in. But anyway, I hope that you are able to solve your problems soon. Good Luck!

Lemme give you an idea why things aren't always clearcut "you can do that so offer it as a service" type thing. Here is my site Mind-mojo.com. I spent weeks on that, and months (too many to count) doing the graphics for my product (the license to them cost me nearly $1000). I adored designing the covers and if I do say so myself, they aren't half bad. Offer to do graphics for others you might say (yeah I can do banners and ebooks etc). Ah....it can take me a good day or two fiddling and farting around, I can't just knock them up in a couple of hours. The rates people charge - especially on Fiverr - wouldn't be viable. I wrote the articles on the site. Not brilliant - though I do think the Phantom Pregnancy one is cool ;) - but I can knock out an article. So write articles? Considered it, but whenever I've tried to write for SEO purposes, keyword rich on something I have little interest in, it's like my brain freezes and it can takes hours to write a few hundred words. Maybe the OP is also like that - has ability to do stuff but not fast/good enough to earn at it? It's a mystery to me why this is so but it appears to be.

I've got high hopes for the IBP site analysis at the moment but it'll have to be an email contact for first approach as I'm too inarticulate on the phone for an initial approach. But I'll try.

I've no doubt a lot of it is lack of self esteem and fear of failure, but there are so many of us out there. I have a very rich brother who has always considered me a flake and a loser - maybe these things affect one subconsciously and we self sabotage in some way? Some of us will quit, some won't, some will be forced to quit. How we get like this, and how we get out of that 'mind set', ah that's the question.

Haha I've got a little 'mind movie' running on the comp telling me I'm making loads of sales and I'll do it by doing x y and z, which I'm doing. I'm applying 'action' and I do believe in the law of attraction bollocks even though I've seen no sign of it yet.

I'll keep the faith but I can completely understand those who get defeated. (BTW I've had 2 sales of those products in 6 months - the first on Christmas Day which I considered a good omen for many more (and the customer loved it - the WeightLoss one). 'Twas not to be, hence I've stuck them on Amazon.

This hits home because I've been where you are about 3 months ago. I lost my apartment and had to move back in with my parents and was on the verge of losing my car.

For me, MRR and PLR membership sites have been the answer. They have brought me back into my own place and not lost my car.

Internet marketing literally saved my life. Now, there is an awesome section on this forum about membership sites. I'd look into it if I were you.

Unfortunately, they require a little start up capital, which I borrowed from my brother.

Not sure if you are in the same postition to do something like that, but you won't regret it.

I know it's hard to think of putting more money out now when you so desperately need money, but you have to think long term.

You need about $250-$300 to do it right.

Hiya,

I've been in a similar place, having kids and wife, adds to the pressure.
I'm not in the clear now, no way near, but clearing a bit off the debts each month.

It's all too easy to get bogged down with the feelings of impossible situation and where/what next... I speak from experience there trust me..

Have you considered IVA, I have had to consider it, but never had to look into it, it may get your creditors under control and off your back - I don't know enough about it to offer any other info tho, sorry - thing is, if you do this, it may make things hard for years to come as it will stick on your credit file for a while.

I'm no guru at making money online nor I make thousands a day. Here's a simple, honest advice for you from someone who is into internet marketing since 1.5 years and now makes decent amount of money from it -

Find a Job that pays to support your basic expenses first. Internet money is not reliable if you already haven't made it. Once you start earning well online, quit your day job.

If you don't want to follow the above, then the easiest ways to make money online are -

1. Writing articles on freelancer.com ( write 5 articles daily, make $15 day)

2. Fiverr.com - It's a site that allows you to earn $5 per task done on simple jobs.

3. Adsense (Read HotBoy's Thread) Or CPA (Read CPA Poll Method) - May take a month or so before you can cash out and the 1st few month earnings won't be too good.

Hope it helps.

damn i hope that a total stranger shows you an act of kindness and helps you.

Hell i could loose my house and my home for my children but i would not scab online to help my problem.

Id do ANYTHING for my kids, scab online if need be. You are worse than the op if thats the case, i wouldnt be picky about how i provided for them. You've clearly never been in the same place this guy has, and if im wrong and you have, and you did indeed provide without scabbing, well done to you...but don't make the guy feel any worse than he already does.

Your advice/lecture was utter crap. He posted in the bhw lounge, and granted its not the normal type of post, anything goes is a term associated with the lounge, and bhw is a community, and so whilst you are free to express your opinion, you dont have a right to call the guy down..noone does.

To the others that made offers of money to him, fair play to you guys.

Op:I hope you can get something sorted out soon.

When your in my situation you dont have confidence even to go out to town some days.

PST! .. I have been there:

$1.2K/mo rent
$900 on 3 ccs (collection)
5K on one big cc (collection)
800 OD on a checking acc and reported to Chexsystems

^^ I could have let myself DIE right there and then, but it is your mental attitude that gets you out of deep-shit-holes like that. The worst thing you could do is to adopt a negative frame of mind and throw the towel.

A quick solution to your no-money-to-eat dilemma is to think "arbitrage" .. do it with anything you can find, services, products... whatever you can get your hands on...

Good luck m8

Ha Ha, I'm going to BK on monday. Lost my job, house, dog ( I loved that dog! cancer) one of our cars oh and we are being sued by three credit card companies. So I know what it feels like. To be honest after I resolved myself to bk, I got a job and we are renting a house. Sure things are going to suck for a while but they have been worse. I have my wife and my two kids, the things you want own end up owning you. (fight club I think, can't take credit for that)

But now that I have more time (not talking to collectors) I'm going to get back on the BH horse and make some money.

As stated above, something like fiverr and the other clone sites out there are prob. a quick way to get something rolling your way. You are just going to have to offer more than the next person - instead of 2 articles - write 3... the first days your post is live - you should get some attention... there are ways of pumping up your views on Fiverr as well - but, I really think you have a better chance of making better cash in the physical world since you are located in UK, correct? As someone else suggested, do some yard work, clean out the inside of rubbish or recycling bins (with a hose)... post on your local craigslist site - gumtree, right? You just have to push yourself to be a jack of many trades to survive... online $$$ take time to nurture - that's for sure... the computer can really usurp a lot of valuable time - monitor that.
best of luck

THanks all advice
I have had some good stuff on Fiverr for past two months but nobody is biting.
Problem is I am not artist or anything like that.

I have a website and uique guide for japanese dating trying to sell full rights on Ebay for five grand, also got it on Amazon Kindle but no sales however its not the most popular thing.

I also have few other things but people just are not buying.

Simplebeans I cant do the ewhoring thing you tried helping with.
Some people just dont have the nerve.

I also have been selling over the past two years what little stuff I bought over the years but I have nothing lef now of value really didt have much anyway.

I had a vid on Youtube till ast week for about five months about music how to play this guitar in this stars own fingerings. I thought loads of people would buy that but nobody at all did.

I thought tat was pretty unique idea

I'm rethinking my advice based on your responses and I seriously recommend that you seek some professional counseling. You sound seriously depressed and need to talk to someone about your situation. Making money is not the your primary problem but appears to be an offshoot of your depression.

Every member on this forum has had some project that has never come to fruition or has faced some major disappointment in their life. Welcome to earth as they say! The key of course is to have multiple irons in the fires of life. Eventually one has to hit! However; you can't do this or stay motivated if you are depressed. It's a serious medical condition and not some character defect as some others would have you to believe. Address your depression and the job and money issues will fall into place.

I wish you the best!

Thanks mate
I know Moneysavingexpert I actually got banned from spamming six months ago with CPA offers and I hide those offers in a long story but the mods still found and realised
What is IVA?

I could Google it

P.S glad your out of it for a bit

Hey,
(To ASGARD as well)
I hv been in UK for 8 years. Mostly as an international student. I can't claim to fully understand your situation but i have volunteered with Citizen's Advice and Prince's Trust. CA is useless.
What I would suggest you is to try The Prince's Trust. They give start-up loans and mentoring to people like you. TBH their loans are tailored to fit people in your situation. Just setup an appointment. Not just the money, they also have plenty of 'proper' volunteers unlike Citizen's Advice who are always up the wall with work.

If you are NOT completely hopeless, I might have some WORK for you.!!

P.S Council tax just came in. LOL gotta laugh. They gave me 350 quid discount I suppose I should be grateful for that.

Looking at Google IVA looks similar to what I id with Citizens Advice meeting and sent budget letters what I could afford to my credit card but they just turn round sayng we can ony accept minimum so much a month which is still a lot and also they just send letter of none payment and to call this number so it goes round in a circle.
-
But Im looking at IVA now as I still have good credit although banks wont help till they see money going in again and I dont want to go bankrupt.
-
Is National debt line like IVA as quite a lot of companies to select from?
