- I used this forum for years. Abt from 2016.
- I logged now to buy a service in the Marketplace.
- I got scammed by a seller via telegram - after sending a crypto payment he deleted the entire conversation, so even I can't see it!
- I posted a negative review on this account.
- After 10 minutes I've got an automatic message that my review was deleted because "no evidence"

Well done, BHW mods, and good bye - i am deleting my account and never going back.

It's good enough if posts the tg username, sometimes these things can be taken beyond dispute resolutions, I certainly make sure that anyone who wants to dance gets their fair share. 1 usd, 1000 usd, they'll come to regrett. Only one language these folks "understand"

As I wrote, the scammer deleted the whole telegram chat session and it disappeared also from me. In front of my eyes.

I was not aware this could be possible so of course I don't have any video nor screenshots. But If this is even possible then it's very dangerous to use this platform to buy from there;
Marketplace sellers are heavily using TG as their communication platform. How many people are being scammed daily such way ? There should be at least warning saying buyers to do screenshots in an ongoing communication with the seller. My only fault was to not check the buyer reviews, but I saw his thread running and nothing in disputes, so..
Didn't know this "easy scamming tactics" is even possible, but now I know it and hopefully others will see it and take caution.
Because a lot of users are not even aware the chat could be removed such way so they can't then see it...

Start a dispute

Seller has to provide evidence he gave you access to such a service, if not - he's automatically guilty.

I think they just check if you wrote something briefly in the topics and give a penalty.
The scammers must be having a great time.

Everytime i bought or contracted from bhw, by default i always take print screens from the entire conversation, here, in tg or in anyplace. Also i always tend to make business with people that are active in the forum and have older profiles.

But i gotta say, the ammount of people trying to impersonate people from this forum is madness. It's quite easy to see, usually they changed name and pic like 5 days ago or something, and add a letter or number on the original tg from the profile here in bhw... but it's worth looking as well

The solution to this is to not conduct business on Telegram. If the person you're dealing with insists on using it, don't do business with them.

This is actually a very serious issue with any seller who operates via TG.

For every high ticket item/service seller there's atleast 1 doppelganger account with an unnoticeably altered TG name.

I always make to sure to contact someone via BHW first and then ask that person to share a link to their TG account.

That's great advice, but sometimes i do business in tg because it takes a long time to answer here in bhw. But out of a curiosity, if i had to open a dispute here, tg print screens are enough? Or only what's written here on bhw direct messages?

Good advice to not conduct business on Telegram, which every seller lists in their marketplace thread. Some have openly in their threads, that that's their main communication platform. Does people who approved their threads see this? Is your advice to not use Telegram when buying through bhw marketplace rules somewhere? Can i see it?
