Hi all,

I’m curious about how referral commissions affect purchasing decisions. Would you ever buy a product or service because someone you know receives a commission? How much does it influence your choice compared to personal research or product quality?

Referral commissions don’t usually affect my trust in a product, but they can influence my purchase if the recommendation comes from a credible source and the product clearly delivers value. Transparency and genuine benefits matter more than the commission itself.

I would.

Referred customers are generally treated better often.

It's simple, a company either does all acquisition alone or has a partner network. Aka pay to find customers yourself or outsource some of that to affiliates.
