Are there any sites like the old Associated Content where you can write articles on most any topic and earn money either per article or based on the views it gets? I know how the Google algorithm and AI have destroyed those type of sites, but I was wondering if there are any similar ones out there still remaining?

Those old platforms are mostly gone, and honestly, that model doesn’t really work anymore. Earlier, the traffic was revenue, but not that is not it. Even I started my career with one of these websites. Sadly, they're not there anymore.

Yeah, it's sad to be honest. It was a fun way to gain experience and earn some cash without having to develop your own website or rely on chasing clients.

They used to distribute their income with the writers. Most of them are now out of business hence they can not pay you.

Yeah I have not been able to find any more sites like that. And with AI now, writing in general is a lot tougher for freelancers.
