Ok so I brought old Gmail accounts from several sellers , some on this forum. I log in with residential proxies and adspower, but in 2-3 days someone changed password and 2fa code so I can't use accounts anymore and this happened to me a lot of times. But if I change password and 2fa same day account would be disabled, or even than also someone change password. So what's the best option to secure Gmail accounts I bought. When I tell seller that accounts are hacked he says I have 24 hours guarantee. So I want to secure accounts immediately after I log in, what is the best way, recovery email, phone number or something else?

First thing you should do is check the login activity and sign out of any old sessions. After that, update the recovery email to one you actually control.

Stop changing the password on day 1, that's what flags the suspicious activity. Instead, bind a real, non-VoIP phone number to the account as the recovery method. This secures the account because the seller can't remove the number without the code. I use LegitSMS for this because they let me reuse the number if I need to verify again later. It’s the safest way to take ownership without killing the account.

There’s really no reliable way to secure bought Gmail accounts. Most already have recovery access tied to the original owner, and changing password/2FA usually triggers Google security checks. That’s why access gets reversed or accounts get disabled. Using accounts you personally create or control is the only stable option long-term.

That's the seller's problems, they sell to multiple clients with the same gmail it's very common especially high value Gmail accounts.
And it's very likely your accounts were scammed that caused by others when they bought from the same seller.
You can build your own gmail using protected numbers and proxies it's better than purchasing gmail directly.

Yes but when I try to change phone number it ask me code from number which last got deleted. On some numbers I can change phone number, but I would also like to remove number because after 6 months number will be disabled by mobile company, so I think to remove number after 1-2 months and add 2fa code or recovery emall
Yes I think they are scammers, they are not honest, I told them to log out from all previous seasons but they ignore that. It wasn't like that before, I used to buy accounts and even didn't change anything accounts are still working for me

Because I suffered the same issues too, they changed my passwords then changed back, I bought premium gmail accounts, can't believe this happened. The only way is registering with correct network and numbers that saved time and cost but it's hard to find you need to test to see how lucky you are.

For Gmails, you are going to have to complete the QR verification since they pushed a new update. That being said, to secure them, you would need to look at a secondary mobile device which you can use to scan the code.

If you do this on the first login from a new device/IP the account will get instantly flagged. You need to warm the acc up first before making those changes.
Yes I agree but seller change password next day so I can't do anything. Before there were much more honest sellers Than today. And I don't know how they get this old emails I see they recovered them buh don't know how they know which to recover

Buying Gmail accounts is the core issue here. Those accounts are usually recovered by the original creator using recovery methods, which is why passwords and 2FA get changed later. There’s no reliable way to fully “secure” bought Gmail accounts — adding 2FA, phone, or recovery email doesn’t override Google’s original ownership signals and often triggers disables.
That’s why sellers only offer very short guarantees.
If you need stable emails long-term, the only real solution is:
Create accounts yourself, or
Use Google Workspace / custom domains where you control ownership from day one.
Anything else will keep ending in recoveries or bans, no matter the setup.

Honestly, there’s no safe way to secure bought Gmail accounts : sellers usually keep recovery options (original phone, recovery email, OAuth tokens, cookies), so even if you change password/2FA, Google can autolock the account or the seller can recover it later changing everything fast often triggers Google’s security and gets it disabled. Recovery phone won’t fully help because the original owner data still wins. The real answer (even if it’s not what you want to hear) is: don’t buy Gmail accounts create aged accounts yourself or use legit providers with full ownership from day one. If a seller offers only 24h guarantee, that’s basically proof they expect them to die or be reclaimed.
