Hi, I’m launching an OFM agency in France and I’ve been in the space for about 6 months. From the start, I’ve had the impression that a large part of the ecosystem pushes toward very technical and often blackhat processes: multi-accounting, anti-detect browsers, proxies, heavy automation, etc.
On my side, I’m much more oriented toward creation, branding, trend analysis, and content direction. After several months trying to master these technical setups without real success, I’m starting to question something more fundamental: is this actually necessary to build a viable and high-performing OFM agency? When I look at large creators and influencers, especially in the US, it seems to me that the agencies behind them operate with relatively classic marketing, strong brand direction, and solid chatting systems, without this kind of overly complex technical infrastructure. On the other hand, in many Telegram groups, the dominant model seems to be: small anonymous models combined with heavy and complex technical processes.
So my question is: is this really a mandatory step? Have the agencies that now manage established, visible influencers all gone through this phase, or are there alternative paths that are more focused on creation and management?
