Hi everyone,

I’m new to TikTok Ads and black hat advertising, so please excuse any beginner questions.
I’m also using ChatGPT to translate, so sorry if anything sounds a bit unnatural.

I’m currently testing gambling / sweepstakes offers on TikTok, but I’m having trouble keeping accounts and ads stable.

My current setup:

New TikTok Ads account
Domain with a landing page
White page first, then redirect to the offer
Creatives are clean (no gambling terms, no money claims, no aggressive CTA)

What usually happens:

Ads get approved
They spend a small amount ($5–$10)
After a few hours, ads get rejected or the account goes into review
In one case, the ad account was banned

I’m confused because I often see people say this niche still works well on TikTok, but my experience has been the opposite so far.

I’d like to understand:

Is cloaking basically required now for this niche?

Is TikTok stricter with new ad accounts than before?

Could the landing page still be triggering flags even with a white page?

I’m only testing with small budgets at the moment, but I can’t keep campaigns running long enough to optimize.

If anyone has experience with this niche on TikTok, I’d really appreciate any advice, even small pointers.

Thanks in advance, and sorry again if my wording sounds a bit off.

You said you are using a white page and then redirect to tthe offer so that means you're using cloaking? And to answer your question YES it is required to use cloaking. How old are your ad accounts? What cloaker do you use?

What is cloaking?

yep Tiktok is stricter with new accounts. Get yourself old accounts.
Id also like to see the creatives nonetheless

What is cloaking?
It means showing different content to ad reviewers to pass the review. You use cloaking for black hat niches like gambling, crypto, etc.. Because running ads for those niches is very complicated, so you need to use cloaking.

Yes, I am using cloaking. However, my ad accounts are almost new. Could this be causing the problem? Is there a certain ad spend required to build trust?

For the gambling sector, TikTok has very strict regulations. Even if you've tried to hide it, it's still difficult to run a stable business. Consider switching to other channels like Facebook and Google.

Mate forget cloaking, you have said sweepstakes, so keep it strictly sweepstakes, are you aware of the very distinctive wording required for that?

Sweepstakes should pass. Cloaking works , if it works, until manual review happens.

What makes people believe that Google and tiktok are too dumb to impersonate a normal user and find out?

Sweepstakes is total bs , but if done right shouldn't be flagged, just like the predecessor "social casino" before it evolved to avoid usa market regulations.

you can get agency accounts or ad accounts with spend history and try cloaking or hop on meta or google.

Don't use new ad accounts. Try with aged accounts. Start with a small ad budget and don't increase it too quickly

New account + new domain + risky niche = expect turbulence. That’s normal in this space.

In the gambling, you have to get used to the possibility of your account being disabled. But you can try:
  • Use website cloaking techniques.
  • Try using the TikTok Ads account provided by the Agency.

If we want to run TikTok ads with a good budget without facing rejections, then we should use a TikTok cloaker. If you want to use a cloaker, you can use TrafficGuardian or TrafficShield. These platforms offer multiple features. Without using a TikTok cloaker, it is difficult to keep ads stable for a long period of time.

For gambling offers on TikTok, cloaking is really needed now. I used TrustCloaker for my campaigns and it works fine, blocks VPNs and bots, real traffic sees the offer. Setup was not hard. Even with white page, TikTok still checks new accounts and small spend, so ads can get rejected fast. Using a cloaker help campaigns run longer so you can test and optimize.

i thought tiktok banned any gambling contents?
Have you try to soft selling (avoid using gamble keywords)?

Recently, platforms, especially TikTok is increasing restrictions on gambling content. Maybe a whitelisted account or aged account (account with history of spending) would help. Pls wait, since new policies are coming and then there would be a more secure way for the niche. My company is TikTok Marketing Partner, and we are also waiting for updates!

You need to look at your creatives. But I advise you to buy old, warm advertising accounts, as they are blocked much less often.

It's mostly due to your content/text. Change it so that it doesn't have any gambling-related keywords and it should work better
