Hey everyone,

I have around 8 years of experience in Forex and crypto trading, including technical analysis, risk management, and broker-side exposure. I currently work in a business development role at a regulated broker, but I’m struggling with direction and execution, not knowledge.

My main issue is this:
I have solid trading experience, but no audience, no exposure, and no experience with content creation or social media funnels.

I want to understand:
  • How experienced traders typically start building visibility online
  • Whether faceless content (charts, voiceover, text) can realistically work in trading niches
  • What mistakes beginners make when trying to grow on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook
  • How to stay focused instead of getting overwhelmed with too many ideas
Would appreciate any general advice, frameworks, or lessons learned from your experience.

Thanks in advance.

Pick one platform, post simple faceless educational content consistently, help beginners, and ignore distractions.

This is a very common spot for experienced traders.

Most people start by picking one narrow angle they know well, like risk management or trade breakdowns, and posting consistently around that. Faceless content works fine in trading, charts with voiceover or text often perform better than personal branding.

The main mistakes are trying too many platforms at once and posting generic content. Pick one platform, one format, and stick with it for a month before expanding.

Hi! Start by sharing clear, valuable trading insights consistently on one or two platforms. Faceless content like chart analysis with voiceover works well. Avoid spreading yourself too thin or overpromising results. Stay focused with a simple content plan and engage genuinely with your audience. Patience and consistency are key!

Thank you guys,

I don’t have prior content creation or editing experience yet. I can share solid trading knowledge, but production quality will be basic at first (screen recordings, charts, voiceover/text). Does quality matter a lot early on, or is clarity and consistency more important?
I’m thinking of starting with Instagram and focusing on faceless content. Also, since I have experience in both Forex and crypto, would you suggest starting with just one niche or both?

You can post reels about your trades and then talk about it. You can upload stories aswell with polls asking your followers which specific stock/crypto you want to trade for that specific day.

Yeah, I think Ill be doing this. I have an idea about getting a whiteboard and marker, Get a camera fixed for a top view and make reels about explaining crypto/forex concepts simply.

Faceless chart analysis with a unique angle works. Pick ONE platform. Consistency beats perfection. Don't give direct signals; teach the "why."
Running ads would be good? My platform would be instagram reels. I have tried making discord/telegram channels in the past but my main problem is when I dont see any one reacting, or listening. I quit.
