Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some feedback regarding the potential value of a website I own.

It is a Turkish movie & TV streaming website that has been online for a while and receives consistent organic traffic from Google. I’m not officially listing it for sale at the moment — just trying to understand realistic valuation ranges in the current market.

Some basic stats:

• Monthly Google organic traffic: ~60,000 – 70,000 users (average)
• Total monthly impressions: 300,000+
• Average CTR: ~21%
• Average Google position: around 6
• Traffic source: ~90% Google Organic
• Primary audience: Turkey (with some EU traffic)
• No known manual actions or search engine penalties

Based on your experience:
– What kind of valuation range would make sense for a site like this?
– What would be the main factors that could increase or decrease its value?

If anyone has experience buying or selling similar entertainment / streaming websites, I’d really appreciate your insights.

Thanks in advance!

What should the average link prices be for these types of websites? Turkish gambling sites want to buy links.

But I have no idea about the pricing.

Depends on monetization. If not monetized its risky often 500-3k$ max

If monetized like 500$/month -> 10-17k

1000$/month -> 20-35k

A site with that traffic usually falls in the $2k–$10k range, but the real value depends almost entirely on monthly profit and legal risk. Stable rankings, clean backlinks, and proven monetization can push it higher.

I don't accept ads, I only have 1-2 links from my friends who asked for links, but my hits come before these links, so the site doesn't make any money because I don't accept ads.

Frankly, I'm considering selling it without advertising. Right now, the series I add in the same category reach the top spot on the first page within an average of one day. However, I have other projects in mind, which is why I'm thinking of selling it.

Considering the site's traffic and potential for monetization, it's great that you're thinking of selling it to focus on other projects. Since you don't accept ads and only have a few links from friends, the site's value would indeed be lower, likely falling within the $2k-$5k range. I'd love to know more about the site's niche and the type of content you're creating that allows you to reach the top spot on the first page so quickly - is it a specific strategy or just high-quality content? Additionally, have you received any concrete offers from the Turkish gambling sites, or are you looking for guidance on how to negotiate a fair price?

I moved away from classic series and chose different ones. Turkish gambling sites want to work for free, so I didn't choose any of them. They want to advertise for free for a few months, then say they'll pay if they like it, so I didn't work with them.
Last month I reached +150k unique hits. The reason for this constant fluctuation is entirely my fault—the more I engage with it, the more the hits increase. I saw that many of the series I added made it to the first page within a few days, but this isn't my job. I'm not good at advertising, so I can't get ads. Constantly following series is exhausting me. I enjoy working with automation systems :D I have a panel where I send extra emails—I send hundreds of thousands of emails every day, and that's more enjoyable.

A site with that traffic typically sells for $2k–$10k, but the real value depends on monthly profit and legal risk. Strong rankings, clean backlinks, and solid monetization can increase the price.

I think it's better to place a CPA or anything ads to see how much it earns. Actually you can't sell it for much without having a revenue

$1500-$2000

If it’s monetized and compliant, sites like this typically sell for 20–40× monthly net profit — but streaming sites with copyright risk often get heavily discounted or are unsellable.

$2k for a site with 60,000-70,000 monthly visits and position 6? Monetize it and then set a tag that's 10-20X the average monthly revenue

I'm currently redesigning the site. As I mentioned, I prefer working on different things rather than following TV series. If there are no issues, I'll add over 2000 series afterward in a format compatible with the integration I wrote. I always love automation. This site is a system for me to spend time doing the things I love, but it would be much better to sell it for the things I love even more.

I focused on increasing the number of tv series. First, I switched from WordPress to Laravel, set up a solid infrastructure, ensured a complete transfer, and now I've written a different system. This system downloads the series, writes my site's name into them, uploads them, and then uploads them to the site. Of course, it changes the SEO sections each time using OpenAI based on the original description, making everything SEO-friendly and selecting categories specifically based on the description. It shares 5 per day and automatically adds the remaining tv series to the upcoming release list. I also added a special request section. If someone requests a series from the request list, it will automatically detect this and prioritize uploading it. As I said, following series isn't and ads my job; I enjoy finding and managing systems this way. For now, users really like the new interface and functionality. Let's see what progress I make from Google's perspective.

Traffic is great, but 90% Google dependency + copyright risk makes buyers cautious. Even if it ranks fast, they’ll ask: “How stable is this long term?”
If it’s not monetized, you’re basically selling potential. And potential always sells at a discount compared to proven income.
If you enjoy building systems more than running them, that’s actually your edge. You might get more value proving even 1–2 months of clean revenue first, then selling the machine, not just the traffic.

Currently, it’s generating 350,000 to 600,000 clicks per month from Google searches.

It’s doing quite well—sometimes I’m surprised to see the TV shows I share appear at the top of Google search results within 10 to 20 minutes.

I tried adding pop-up ads through Adsterra, which brings in between $30 and $50 a day.

It would be best to keep improving it.

This is surprising—when I first brought up the topic, the average was around 60–70k per month, and I didn’t think I’d be able to increase it this much in such a short time.

I’m also thinking about hosting the videos myself—I’ll get a dedicated server for that—and since I have viewers from other countries besides the one where the content is currently available, I’m considering setting up the site differently for five separate countries, because I have five different languages and translations for each series, and my archive is quite large. I don’t have any copyright issues, so I’m not worried about that.
