There are many free SEO tools available, but not all are reliable.
Which free tools do you still use or recommend for beginners?
Mainly for research and basic analysis.

Even though many free SEO tools exist, some are still very reliable for beginners. I personally recommend Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest free version and AnswerThePublic. These tools are easy to use and very helpful for basic keyword research, site performance checks, and understanding user behavior without spending money.

For beginners, some of the most reliable free SEO tools are Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ubersuggest, AnswerThePublic, and Keyword Surfer.

For beginners, free tools are more than enough if used correctly.
I still rely on Google Search Console and Google Analytics for real data.
For keyword ideas and basic research, Google Keyword Planner, Google Trends, and even SERP manual checks work well.
Most paid tools just speed things up — the fundamentals are already free.

If you’re starting, there are plenty of free SEO tools that can really help without feeling overwhelming. Google Search Console and Google Analytics provide insights into how your site is performing and where improvements are needed. Tools like Ubersuggest, AnswerThePublic, and Keyword Surfer make it easier to find keyword ideas and understand what people are actually searching for. Together, these tools provide beginners with a solid foundation without spending any money.

Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Keyword Planner. All of them are free and fully reliable.

Ahrefs free keyword research tool is good for a quick overview of a keyword potential. Ubersuggest is good for small assessment. GSC is good for overall data collection and analysis. Bing search console is good for identifying some issues that Google doesn't report for unknown reasons.

For beginners, I still recommend Google Search Console and Google Analytics for reliable data, plus Google Keyword Planner for basic keyword research. Tools like Ubersuggest (free tier) and AnswerThePublic are also useful for light research and content ideas.

Google Search Console and Google Analytics are must-haves. For keyword ideas, I like Google Keyword Planner and AnswerThePublic.

I rely on a proven stack of free essentials: Google Search Console, Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, Keyword Planner, and the free version of Screaming Frog.
