Hey, very specific question, i'm from europe and i'm running a tiktok account which successfully targets US audience, i initally used a 30-day us sim card + proxy to create my account / configure my phone.
So now i'm simply using my house Wifi and the outdated us sim and it works fine.

Question > for the holidays i'm gonna move in another location (same country) so i'll use another house wifi router, could it be detected by tiktok on an account that is "usa located" ?
or the account "location identity" is set on creation and it cannot be changed no matter what? (which would benefit me so i can move around and it stays as a us account)

Thanks for the help

genuinely i think you'll be fine, as long as you keep creating the same type of content and you're still connected to a Wi-Fi

I think just if anything don't connect to a mobile carrier

Changing wifi within the same country wont flip the account to another region. tiktok mostly locks the location signal at creation and early usage. As long as behavior stays consistent moving networks later usually doesnt change a US targeted account.

Yep they can see that you're using another IP adress and somebodies wifi could potentially be flagged, bringing harm to your account

Later network changes inside the same country are usually treated as normal mobility, not a region change unless other signals suddenly contradict the original setup.

For an established account, occasional network changes in the same country rarely affect its US targeting tiktok relies more on early setup and consistent behavior than on every wifi swap.

In my opinion, the US SIM in this case mainly acts as a login/initial setup factor. As you mentioned, you’re currently using your home Wi-Fi (European IP) and the account is still successfully targeting a US audience. So if you move to another location but stay within the same country, the audience targeting should remain the same. Changing your local Wi-Fi router alone shouldn’t affect how your content is distributed.
