Hello BHW,
What social media trends do you think are worth paying attention to this year?
Interested in hearing what others are seeing.

Hey! I’d pay attention to short videos and reels — they’re really taking off on all platforms. Another trend is interactive content: polls, quizzes, AR filters. And of course, native ads that don’t annoy users are also gaining traction.

I choose AI-powered personalized video messaging (like HeyGen clones) and niche community platforms like Geneva, as users shift from broad networks to private, interest-based groups for more authentic engagement and monetization.

I'd personally keep an eye out for anything that Meta and X do.

Short-form video still seems to be getting the most attention, and platforms are pushing more real, less polished content. I’m also seeing more focus on smaller communities and genuine engagement rather than just big numbers. Curious what trends others here are noticing this year.

Hey! A few trends worth watching are short-form videos still dominating, more authentic “real life” content performing well, and interactive features like polls and Q&As boosting engagement. Would love to hear what others are noticing too!

Social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, which support short-form video, are excellent for promotion—especially for lifestyle-oriented products.

I’m watching short-form video formats continue to evolve, especially with more interactive features and trend loops. Niche communities and audio-first content also seem to be gaining traction. Beyond that, reuseable, value-first content (not just flashy) seems to get the best engagement right now. Curious what others are noticing too.
