Hey,

we have a phone farm for threads. Since our UI requires many updates since meta is updating so fast and the handling is hard with workers locking in via remote sessions we were thinking if maybe adspower setup can be fine as well. Can aged threads accounts also work as good as on phones? Putting the accounts into an AD browser would save us a lot of costs and would be insanely more efficient. Does anyone have experience with this?

If you're using good proxies and do things manually, yest it can work. Don't have much experience with Threads, but they're not the same strict as IG

AdsPower works great for both IG and Threads!

We tested both. Aged Threads accounts can work in AdsPower, but phone farms are still safer long-term. Browser profiles are fine if IPs, fingerprints, and behavior are consistent. Expect slightly higher bans in AD browsers, especially after Meta updates.

Proxies for this is vital since it will help keep the accounts separate and prevent them from getting linked; that is safer.

Definitely iphone ftw but Android can be automated as well, we have an X farm why u need VAs?

I feel like manual stuff will always look more realistic to meta and reduce bans a lot. Also i can be way more flexible with testing and changing stuff since i just need to say something in a call and not reconfigure everything

Not gonna lie i feel like meta gives a fuck about IPs. If the ip is HQ then it feels like its fine. We run every 15 accounts on the same proxy and all are over 3 months old now. Also the new ones dont seem to care. All go viral consistently (usually daily)

Thanks. How much higher are we speaking about? Also do you inject cookies or generate some? Or do you just use a clear profile. Also is it fine if you still run them on a mobile proxy? We have a very good supplier and i dont really want to change it since we have such good pricing

That s false. Good automation can be both flexible and undetectable

Does it matter if you use static residential proxies comapred to mobile proxies?

ADSpower is convenient and cheaper, but for older Threads accounts, real phones often give better performance and fewer login issues.

Aged threads accounts can work in an anti detect browser, but phones are still safer for long term stability. Ad browsers are more efficient just expect higher churn and more warming needed compared to real devices.

Using anti detect browsers can streamline operations but for long term performance, a hybrid approach phones for key accounts and AD browsers for testing usually balances efficiency with stability.

Some people report success with anti-detect browsers for efficiency, but phones still tend to be more stable long-term testing both setups on a small scale is usually the safest approach.

I haven't seen a browser completely replace the real phone experience, especially with apps like Threads, because it relies heavily on app behavior and device signals. Aged accounts running on anti-detection software or browsers sometimes have more limited reach compared to real phones, and the risk of checkpoints is also higher. If you switch to AdsPower or a similar environment, it's best to test a few accounts first, don't apply it to the entire farm immediately

If you’re looking for long-term stability on platforms like Threads, the safest approach is usually sticking to the platform’s terms, focusing on real audience growth, consistent content, and brand positioning rather than infrastructure shortcuts.

Agreed. I'm a technical guy and always try to automate things. But for the last 2-3 months, threads changed so dramatically, that I'm having 3k accs getting less views/likes that my friend with 30 manual accounts lol

Also in our anecdotal experience, phones and always better than adspower for long run

An anti detect browser with good proxies will enable you to create more accounts. However, if you automate any of your actions on Instagram you're likely going to get caught and banned.
