I would like to know if it's necessary to use a new pixel code for products with two different product attributes across different regions. It currently has no data at all. Would the old pixel code still be applicable?

You can usually use the same pixel if the product is the same different regions or attributes can be tracked with events or parameters a new pixel is only needed for fully separate projects.

Pixels are only used to track behavior on the website, so if you're still using the same website, one pixel is sufficient. Having two different product attributes based on region doesn't necessarily require creating a new pixel. Even if the current pixel has no data, it will still function normally and will relearn itself when someone visits from an ad. The old pixel is still applicable. You should only create a new pixel if you're using a completely different website or a completely different sales method.

I think I understand what you mean. I shouldn't be preoccupied with the issue of old versus new pixels. What's important is my product positioning and settings. Even with the new pixels, if my positioning is correct, I can still achieve excellent results.

You don’t need a new pixel just because products have different attributes or regions. You can keep using the existing pixel code and differentiate products/regions using parameters or events, even if the pixel currently has no data.

If a product has two different attributes in different regions and there is currently no data available, you should use the new Pixel code to collect more accurate information for each attribute and region. The old Pixel code may still be applicable, but it will not optimize your advertising campaign performance for these new changes.

a new pixel isn't required just, as long as the event structure and parameters are set up correctly, an existing pixel can still learn accurately. issues usually come from inconsistent event mapping, not whether the pixel is old or new, and it often performs better once it has historical data

Older pixels can read commands and detect which target groups have a need for your product, for example, gender, age... this can be applied to many different areas.

When the new products you're selling are completely different from your previous products, it's recommended to use a new pixel, as the data accumulated by the old pixel will be irrelevant to your current products.
