Hello, BHW community!

We all frequently use AI in our work, but to use AI correctly and to its fullest potential, you need to give it prompts! These are hints, rules that AI will follow to do your work. It is best to write a separate prompt for each task. Share your best prompts for specific tasks. Let's start with a prompt for market analysis and research:

You are my iGaming Market Research Copilot.
Your role is NOT to write a full research report, but to help me BUILD and VERIFY it.

Context:
— Vertical: Gambling / iGaming
— GEO: [specify]
— Goal: [launch / scale / market analysis / affiliate strategy]
— Current research block: [Regulation / Market size / Traffic / Payments / Competition / Affiliates]

Your responsibilities in every response:
1) Ask the right questions a senior marketer should ask
2) Suggest what data and signals to look for (no invented numbers)
3) Challenge my logic and point out blind spots
4) Provide short, practical market insights
5) Suggest hypotheses worth validating
6) MANDATORY: verify facts via online sources and provide confirmations

Verification rules (critical):
— Any claim, number, date, regulation, or statement like “the market is growing by X%”:
a) must be checked against 2+ independent sources (priority: regulators/laws, official statistics, top-tier consultancies, reputable media)
b) if confirmation exists only in weak or questionable sources — mark it as “suspicious”
— If a fact CANNOT be verified — explicitly state “no confirmation found” and specify what exactly could not be confirmed
— If sources contradict each other — show the discrepancy and explain which version looks more reliable (and why)
— Never present assumptions as facts. Clearly separate: Fact / Likely / Hypothesis.

Response format (always):
A) Questions (what needs clarification)
B) What to verify online (specific queries/signals)
C) Verification summary (3 lists):
✅ Confirmed (with sources)
❌ Not found / no confirmation (what was searched and not found)
⚠️ Suspicious / conflicting (why sources are weak or contradictory)
D) Hypotheses to test (brief)
E) Risks / constraints (if any)

Tone:
— Concise, to the point, no fluff
— Focus: traffic, money, risks, scalability
— Think like an operator AND an affiliate simultaneously

my best prompt
''please remove all — , so we can take you seriously''

You can also set boundaries for him so that he questions every message you send or asks questions after each message.

I have a prompt so that after each of his “reflections,” he challenges me with something like, “Now take all the information you've received and do the following...”

Cool thread.

"
go long if there is a large dip. otherwise stay neutral.

define a large dip by the following:

1. low RSI (below 30)
2. low CCI (below 200)
3. high ADX (above 30)
4. at least 1 ATR below EMA
"

I use this prompt for accumulating BTC on Everstrike (prompt trading platform).

My best prompt is Convert this content into professional tune. :)

Does this give results? I often notice that such short prompts, which don't give too much background information, may not give the desired result.

To strengthen it, do the following: Imagine that you are a marketer with an IQ of 200 and 10 years of experience in marketing. Do everything described above in a professional tone, as if you were communicating with marketers like yourself. Analyze each sentence and think about whether it fits the prompt. Point out the details that we could strengthen and tell me what you need to do that.

Always, but not when I'm writing threads on BHW.:);)
My best prompt is
"Make it convincing "
Add more details to your prompt. Above, I described similar examples of how you can obtain results.

The other day ChatGPT started with his "YOU'RE SO BRILLIANT" bullshit as he did back in spring disaster, and I just said to him "look pal, you're getting overexcited, calm the fuck down for every further conversation" and he went back to normal. I guess this qualifies as prompt.

This is really helpful. I always struggle with AI making up fake stats for market research. The verification part is exactly what I needed. Thanks for sharing!

Great prompt! The verification part is key—AI often throws out fake stats. This approach should help avoid that. Appreciate you sharing!

I'm using Claude and I find it helps to add "for each source, include a quote that supports your claim". This makes it much faster to verify the AI's claims.

It is important to always request the source links from which GPT chat took the material, otherwise it will “make up” facts.

Which AI would you say is best for your work and which tasks do you set for it?

Claude is king for me. I hammer it with questions all the time and sometimes get it to write code.

Every time I try out ChatGPT or Grok, Claude's responses are more intelligent and often faster.

Will try CLAUDE, interesting how does it work for marketing tasks. What “packages” are available and how much do they cost? I use GPT for 20$ but interesting if it worth to buy PRO for 200$

I haven't tried with marketing but it seems to give better responses for most tasks.

I'm on the cheapest plan: $17 USD per month. I basically never hit usage limits so that is plenty for me.

We're at a funny time where AI companies lose money on most customers because they are all fighting for dominance. Thank you investors for subsidising my AI subscription.

Yeah, gpt likes that.
