Trading with prop firm seems better than brokerage portfolio.
Anyhow it is, no matter how profitable trader is, is always ideal to have side hustle, or many investments(if wealthy).
Trading have serious up and down, it's not healthy to based on financial welfare entirely on that alone.

I fully understand and respect your points based on your experience and success in selling.
My own experience with selling is horrible so far.
I'm a affiliate of a loan provider that give loan to American, and pay up to $350 per qualified lead.
From my view, loan offer suppose to have highest conversion ever, than any other product or service, since almost everyone want it, both rich and poor, and it doesn't take money out of their pocket.
I've promoted this loan affiliate link alongside with good post in reply to those taking about or requesting loan in American discord groups.
I promoted to over 50 Americans, over and over again, using 20 discord accounts, for weeks, without getting conversion, I only got 90 clicks.
I even posted in a general entertainment group with 70k online members on discord and my post stay 1 hour, I only got 2 clicks, I couldn't believe my eyes.
If loan doesn't convert, I have extremely low confidence in anything else converting.
If 70k online members only give 2 clicks, I don't have confidence in any traffic no matter how huge it is.
That's why I'm currently looking for side hustle that doesn't involve selling anything,
Feel Free to share if you have any side hustle that doesn't involve selling.

Owning distribution (Audience...). Fall under content creation, which take years to build.
Most YouTubers hustle for 6 months before making their first $10, they hustle for years before making their first $1000.
I Can hustle years worth of hustle in 1 week,
I'm not lazy, but I can't afford patience of waiting for years before making something significant.
I'm looking for side hustle that I can go all in and be making something significant right away. That won't involve chasing buyer.

You don’t wanna sell products or service? Why would anyone wanna take their money from their pocket and give it to you, if you don’t provide them anything? You want something easy that doesn’t require time or time to build a skill. Sounds like a dead end

I used to make crazy money with loan offers on Craigslist.
I paid 3 wonderful people from Dhaka to post 5,000 ads a month, when it was free to do so, and I would take in like 18K a month.
You may be able to do that on some social media platforms.

But now, 20% of freelancer get 80% of gigs and make 80% of money,
Other 80%(and their skill) are just going through a lot on survival mode.
Even in business world, 65% of business fail within 10 years.
The whole world of opportunities are saturated.

If I stopped creating businesses back in the day because I failed, I would not have had the successful ones I created.

I've already tried Craigslist too in the past.
After posting ads, ads is not showing, I tried several tactics to bypass restrictions, it's just not working. Maybe it's working before but not anymore.
Even several Americans complain on review site that their ads posted is not showing in public listing.
Maybe they don't allow Nigerian to post,

What I can say so far about this thread is that it’s been genuinely lovely... both from the OP and from the people sharing their insights.
It’s actually been a long time since I’ve seen a decent post where the OP stays around to engage genuinely with the discussion, and where people are willing to get involved and share more. That’s really nice to see : )
Even if the OP doesn’t end up getting exactly what they want by the end of this thread, there are so many people who will come across it later and get massive motivation to try things out based on what others have suggested.
That honestly reminds me of the old BHW I remember, where you would randomly come across a thread that could literally change your life from that point onward
I don’t think there’s anything new I would add that hasn’t already been suggested by others, and I also don’t believe any method or approach is truly too oversaturated if you stick with it long enough and actually do the work.
I’m into freelancing, and that took years of being all over the place, trying to figure things out and experimenting with so many different things. A few worked, and some that worked before aren’t even working anymore now.
The mindset really is to keep pushing for what’s new and to keep adapting over time. Otherwise, you end up stuck in the world of “oversaturation” that you’re describing right now.
I respect your opinion throughout this thread, but it helps to take a pinch of everyone’s advice and try things from a different angle than what you’ve done before, especially if what you tried previously didn’t work out well for you.
PS: I like how responsive you are to every comment here, even when you don’t agree (I've seen enough of AI trash lately) : D

AI also have made many things oversaturated, it has made many content writer, graphic designer, programmers because jobless.
If you're into job, Ai could sooner or later sack you.
Nobody is willing to share secret strategic way they're making money online,
Perhaps, they're trying to protect the way from casting and becoming saturated as more people adopt.
IF 100 people go into freelancing, affiliate marketing, drop shipping...
Even though all of them are working hard,
It's few, like 20, that would make any money at all, maybe due to luck, or some other kind of privilege.
My point is average person is not going to make anything from affiliate, freelancing....
Those ways are misleading to average people.

Affiliate marketing even have over 90% failure rate.

Well, you’re right... but I want you to remember that everybody (or most people) you see doing well in their niche right now were below average or just average when they started, like anyone else.
What usually separates average from exceptional people is honestly very small margins most of the time.
The factor of luck or privilege is something I’ll never dispute in this discussion but we still need to position ourselves in places where luck can find us.
Not many people have things work out purely by luck. It’s usually because they make sure it does. Even Deleted member 731332 and a couple of others mentioned this already in this thread.
They saw things people were doing here and there and put their own spin on it to make it work for them.
That’s the best approach... taking things into your own hands, pushing against it and adjusting until it stands upright : )
If someone is not willing to share what they spent years figuring out that’s working for them, I honestly don’t think there’s any bad intent in that.
Even most courses we pay for, the guru will say they’ve shared everything you need to make the same amount they’re making, blah blah blah. That’s not always true. There are still small but very important details that work for them which they keep to themselves.
I bet you’d do the same if you spent many years discovering something that works for you eventually. It’s just human nature : D
