Before he won Manager of the Month in October, everyone wanted this guy gone.
I'm not Utd fan (not anymore, I used to be one in the Fergie era), but I - too - thought that he should go

... I mean, I've got nothing personal against him, but his results (well, until recently) were atrocious, didn't Utd use to lose to all garbage teams from the bottom / middle of the table?? And that's on Old Trafford too, so of course that fans are not pleased with this when they've been at the top for so long. They got used to the success and stuff...
It’s crazy how football fans only live in the moment... I will never understand it
so you're a plastic fan

(just kidding, I'm 100% with you on this)
Don’t hype us about top 4 right now : D
It’s going to be very hard. And the EPL is getting crazier every year.
I think you can surpass Palace, though, so your only real competition are Chelsea, Spurs, City and L'pool at the moment, and Spurs & Pool seem to be struggling this season, so you can overthrow them, especially since you seem to have found your mojo too with these last few wins...
Look at the table right now fgs... It’s literally just one point separating most teams : D
I know, but you have the form and pedigree on your side, I genuinely believe you'll finish top 4 (or - if that's not possible - you'll manage to secure a UCL spot somehow, this much I am willing to bet)
Football fans are just the most delusional people I know : D
well, as an ex-fan myself (I've lost my best friend from high school over my passion for the great AC Milan of the early to mid-2000s, that generation with Kaka, Pippo, Sheva, Seedorf, Maldini, Nesta, Cafu, Pirlo.... god, damn it, now I'm getting nostalgic again...)
Anyway, I lost a friendship over my die-hard fandom for AC Milan, so I know what it's like to be a football fan, it's taken me several years (literally) to get it through my brain that the great Milan is gone and will never come back... I think around 2009 or 2010 the last of these footballers that I've mentioned had left Milan (I think it's been Seedorf, but I could be wrong, I don't remember), and after he was gone I completely stopped caring about Milan. I'd still want them to do well, I'd love to get behind them again, but I can't bring myself to like any of their players... I mean, Ok, Leao and Pulisic are decent, but they're nowhere near the level of the true legends. Also, after Maldini had been sacked from the office I really lost all interest in the club. Legends like Maldini or Totti should be paid unconditionally and for all eternity (for doing absolutely NOTHING if needed be) for the decades that they've carried their clubs. Totti had been courted by Real Madrid for 2 years straight, and yet, he'd never left AS Roma (my 2nd favorite team from Italy after Milan... at least 20 years ago, nowadays I hardly care about anyone anymore)...
Anyway, as I was about to say, I know what football fans are like because I've been one, and believe me, when the football bug bites you it's over. You'll die with that club in your heart
