Hi everyone,
I’m not an SEO professional, but a question came to mind and I’m sure some of you can clarify it.
Let’s imagine a scenario:
There is a website with strong domain authority, and I found an endpoint where I can upload images. These uploads are not publicly visible on the site unless someone manually discovers the endpoint, but after uploading, the system generates a direct image URL on that high-authority domain. I can also set alt text and possibly other metadata that might matter for SEO.
Here’s where my question comes in:
If I were to upload a large volume of images (for example, tens of thousands per day) targeting specific niches, could these images rank on Google Images just from being uploaded, thanks to the domain authority?
Or would I still need to use and distribute those image URLs elsewhere to help them get indexed and rank?
I’m a bit confused about how much SEO value this kind of setup could actually generate.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated — thanks for your time!
