I got banned on one of my accounts for selling some stuff, and I've been IP banned on every account ever since then. Even if I use a VPN, new accounts are always seemingly shadow banned for me. I recognise the marketing power Reddit has so I really want an account that I could use without getting banned automatically, but idk if it's possible

what service do you use for VPNs?

Reinstall everything and change your ip, avoid vps or spammed ips. If possible get a cheap mobile with new number, it will work without any issue. If you are violating reddit rules, sooner or later they are going to ban you, even accounts with mod status with tons of karma get banned daily.

I already changed over to IOS and I can't afford a new phone. Is it possible to buy a cheap reddit account and use it with a free vpn?

Free ones like supervpn. I can't afford a paid service
free ones likely use 'public' VPNs which tip off reddit. you're using the same VPN as 1000s of other users, reddit knows those VPNs and blacklists them bc they're already associated with spam.

you're going to have to pay for premium VPNs and may need to even look at disguising your digital fingerprint.

alright bet, what's a good cheap paid one?

You need to look into Anti Detect Browsers combined with high quality Residential Proxies.

Appeal system?
There are two types of such operations:

1. Appeal system with a lower success rate and no guarantee ( those are cheaper, usually 100-500$ range )

2. Insider services with guaranteed success rate ( more expensive, can cost thousands of dollars and very hard to find a genuine connection, there are usually many people in-between so essentially you will deal with a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy in most cases )

3. And of course there are also a lot of scams. So be careful!

Realistically I don't see any reason to use such a service unless you lost a really important account with big stats like 100k+ karma or something like that.

Don’t use VPNs to run your accounts on, even the paid ones are too risky since their ISPs get flagged all the time and you’ll burn through your accounts. Use good quality clean residential proxies.

Forget appeals, I tried writing essays to the admins and never got a single human reply.

I appealed three accounts, and only one was reinstated. Basically, I explained that I hadn’t violated any community guidelines and that since I’m in China, I have to use a VPN to access Reddit.

Reddit flags ips and accounts strictly so shadow bans may continue even with a VPN using a new ip email and device while following all rules is the safest way to build a usable account

You should start new account with a fresh setup, proxy should be clean and account should be warmed up.
