Hi, Everyone has their own way of getting into “focus mode,” and I’m curious to hear the other choice.

Some people need complete silence…
Some need hype music…
Others need background noise, podcasts, or YouTube videos.

Personally, I like having something light in the background usually podcast episodes, news-style discussions, or storytelling content. It keeps my brain engaged without pulling my focus away from the work, and it also helps me stay awake and avoid that tired, sleepy feeling while working.

I like having either my favourite funk and hip hop radio station on, or my highly biased youtube playlist! lol or the other thing i do sometimes, i play a song for 1 or 2 days only, mostly when i really need to do some heavy and long grinding and thinking work.

Silence? Disgusting word! I don't want to hear all day the bash of keyboard buttons only! :D

It depends on my mood and irritation level. When I’m irritated but still need to work, I prefer to do it in silence. If my mood is good, I usually play something quietly in the background various chillout tracks, lo-fi hip-hop, ambient, or other cozy, calm music.

It depends on the task I'm working on, and my mood.

If the task is technical, and requires more concentration, I prefer silence, otherwise, I enjoy underground music.

Depends on the mood, but most of the time I work with music. The only thing that ruins everything is other people’s music in the background that I can’t control.

If ou select the right music, it doesn't harm to your focus, instead it helps you to focus way better

I generally select no-lyrics or low-lyrics song with very repetitive rhythm patterns lie deep house or minimal techno.

Listening to music while I work relaxes me a lot and keeps me focused. I try to listen to my own instrumentals to improve them and write lyrics for them. Headphones, music, and work.
Just like right now.

Are you then focused on your passion, music, or on your IM work?

I'm focused 100% in my IM work. Music is my passion. Work is work, passion is passion.
And I'm passionate about both of them; it's what I love to do.

Most people love working in silence, but it depends on the type of task—whether it needs full focus or is a simple daily routine. For me, I prefer working with some background sound on my phone, like a podcast or a story. some time Quran for a positive energy

:)

Sometimes I like silence, sometimes I like quiet news on in the background. No music, thanks. Very distracting to have to play with it and change songs or stations etc.

What I really like is a nice candle burning while working. I go through a lot of candles.

I work the same with music or silence — perfectly focused either way.

There is no doubt about passions; we all need to have them alongside our work.

During my time in the corporate world, I would not have been able to feel loyal to my employer and my staff if my thoughts had been elsewhere. And even today, I cannot feel loyal to myself and my customers if my thoughts are not 100% focused on the task at hand.

That's why I block out these three early morning hours every day without any distractions or digressions. After that, the important work is done and the money is earned. Of course, I still work for the rest of the day, but then I focus on tasks that don't require perfection.

What I really like is a nice candle burning while working. I go through a lot of candles.
Nice idea with a candle burning. Does it calm you down or even inspire you at work?
